The world of Fields of Mistria is filled with mysteries, from the mysterious statue of the dragon Caldarus to the leftover artifacts from past civilizations. Not all artifacts come from ancient people, though – some of them are rare, naturally occurring phenomena, and one of these is Tidestone.

We cover how to find the Miner's Pickaxe in Fields of Mistria.
Posts By Rabiya RizwanHailing from the water-magic-infused Tide Caverns, this aptly named stone resembles a piece of the ocean in solid form, and it's something you'll want if you plan on completing the Tide Cavern Artifact Set for Mistria's museum. It'll take some combat, digging, and restoring a magic tablet if you want to get one.
How To Find Tidestone
To get access to Tidestone and the other Tide Cavern Artifacts, you'll first need to reach level 20 of the Mines and restore the Water Tablet by collecting and giving it four different items: a Ruby, Lantern Moth, Stone Loach, and Upper Mines Mushroom.
All four items needed for the Water Tablet can be found by exploring or mining in the Upper Mines, which covers levels one through 19.
This will unlock the Tide Cavern section of the Mines, bringing with it a new set of Artifacts you can find, including Tidestone. Like with other Artifacts, you'll want to look for raised mounds in the dirt and use a Shovel or a Pickaxe to dig them up.
You have a chance to get one of five Artifacts from these raised mounds, but the Tidestone has an Uncommon rarity, so it can take several mounds before you find one unless you get lucky.
You can increase your chances of finding them in two ways, and they're both perks available in the Archaeology Skill Tree: Stoneturner and Pursuit.
- Stoneturner is a tier two skill that gives you a small chance of finding Artifacts when miningany rock, so you can get a Tidestone or other Artifact just by mining if you invest in it.
- Pursuit is also a tier two skill, but this one directly increases your chance of finding an Uncommon or Rare Artifact if you previously dug up Peat, Clay, or Sod from a raised mound.
Pursuit's bonus doesn't apply if you find Peat, Clay, or Sod when mining rocks, only if you dig them up from a raised mound.
