Summary
- Square Enix has revealed three Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth characters are getting their own Masterline figures.

- Nothing else about them has been confirmed, including how much the 1/4th scale figures will cost.
The PS5 Pro was released last week and one of the games it improves the most in terms of visuals appears to be Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. However, there will soon be a way to see some of Rebirth's core characters in even higher quality as Square Enix has revealed Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth will be getting their own Masterline figures.
The reveal that the two Soldiers and one of gaming's most ruthless villains have been turned into some of the most detailed figures on the market was made via a video showcase of the Rebirth Masterline collection you can check out below. The close-ups and sweeping shots of the figures detail just how good these figures look, particularly the eyes which Square quite rightly pays a lot of attention to throughout the two-and-a-half-minute video.

Some of the most impressive Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth figures are coming soon, depicting Cloud and Tifa in some awesome poses.
PostsThe Masterline figures will be 1/4th scale which means they will be roughly a quarter of the size of the in-game characters, so pretty big. The exact dimensions of the figures hasn't been shared, but if they're similar to the Nier 2B Masterline figure available on the Square Enix store right now, they'll likely be a tad over 20 inches tall.

Just Rip The Band-Aid Off And Tell Us How Much They'll Cost, Please
The 2B Masterline figure might also provide an insight into how much the Rebirth characters' additions to the collection are going to cost, and that's where this terrific news takes a scary turn. There are two Masterline figures available on the Square store right now, and at $1,150, 2B's is the cheaper of the two. The slightly larger Fullmetal Alchemist figure costs more than twice that at $2,600, and it seems more likely Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth's figures will be closer to that price than 2B's.
Although Cloud is wielding his Buster Sword throughout most of the video, both he and Zack's figures appear to have alternative weapons if you want them, although it isn't clear if those weapons will be included with a base figure. The same applies to the iconic black wing that can be attached to Sephiroth.
Everything that has been officially revealed about the Masterline figures so far is confined to the video above. No prices, no release date, and no pre-order details. Hopefully that information will come soon and hopefully it won't be so much that they're not realistic purchases for most Final Fantasy 7 fans. If they are, or you'd rather just buy something Final Fantasy 7-themed from Square right now, there's always the smaller, much cheaper acrylic figures.
