The fourth season of Chapter Three is coming to an end, and Fortnite will soon enter a new season and a new chapter, both full of changes. Just last week, Epic Games added Avian Ambush Week quests, a week all about chickens. Now it's all about gold bars.

Since a new chapter is coming, these quests won't be available for a full week — instead only accessible for four days. It's best to get to them now before you lose your chance.

Updated December 2, 2022, by Ashely Claudino: Bargain Bin week is back. These special event weeks usually return at the end of each Season, so that you don't forget to spend what gold bars you have left. But now it seems that they're here to make sure players collect bars before the end of the chapter. Perhaps they won't reset after all. Complete all of these quests before December 3!

What Are Bargain Bin Week Quests?

Bargain Bin Week used to be all about spending gold bars. Before as soon as the next season kicked off, the number of gold bars in your inventory would reset, but last season, this isn't what happened. So, it seems Epic Games want you to earn a few extra gold bars before the season comes to an end.

On top of that, this time around, you will be getting even more of an XP boost, depending on the number of quests you complete. There are Bargain Bin Bonus Goals this time, so the more quests you get through, the more XP you'll gain.

Bargain Bin Bonus Goal

Reward

Complete three Bargain Bin quests

40,000 XP

Complete five Bargain Bin quests

One full Battle Pass level (around 80,000 XP)

Complete seven Bargain Bin quests

One full Battle Pass level

Completing seven Bargain Bin quests, and thus finishing all Bonus Goals, will guarantee that you increase your Battle Pass level by two and a half levels.

Spend Bars (500 / 1,000 / 1,500 / 2,000 / 3,000)

This quest has five stages, each requiring you to spend a larger number of Bars. Before, this was easier to complete, since you had to spend lots of bars to complete the other available quests. Now, you will actually earn more bars by completing quests.

Complete Bounties (3)

You can accept a bounty by interacting with a Bounty Board at just about any named location. After accepting a bounty you'll have to eliminate the player that appears as your bounty. Either that or wait for someone to poach your bounty and eliminate them themselves.

Collect Bars From Eliminated Players (100)

Each time you eliminate a player, a few gold bars will drop near their loot. Be sure to collect them every time you take down a player to get as many as you can. It should take you about ten to 15 eliminations to complete this quest.

Open A Safe (1)

Safes will usually spawn in gas stations or small convenience stores. However, it's not guaranteed. The best place to look for safes is by opening vaults. Safes tend to always spawn inside vaults, especially two-key vaults. Collect a key and open a vault to easily find a safe.
