Summary
- Someone recreated the GTA 6 trailer in GTA 5, starring Michael and Trevor.
- It was recreated shot-for-shot. Even the most popular shot of Lucia.
- This is definitely in someone's fan-fiction.
The second trailer for GTA 6 undoubtedly rekindled the hype that died down with the game's delay. After almost four years since the first trailer, fans cannot believe how much better the visuals are, going gaga over things like bubbles, reflections, and Lucia's behind. In fact, some fans even felt the trailer looked better than the real life locations it featured.

Grand Theft Auto 6's graphics will be out of this world, but GTA 5's aren't as bad as we're pretending.
PostsWe also got to see some of the activities Jason and Lucia will be able to partake in once the game launches, including jet skiing, dirt biking, and cage fighting, among others. Some diehard fans have even taken frame-by-frame screenshots to study all the little details. Speaking of which, YouTuber Gu1maz finally recreated the GTA 6 trailer in GTA 5, with some hilarious stand-ins.
Michael And Trevor Star In GTA 5's Recreation Of GTA 6 Trailer 2
Like the GTA 6 trailer, we open with a shot of a topless guy working on a roof. Only, instead of a sweaty, eight-pack toting Jason, it's Michael with his middle-aged beerbelly, falling off the roof. The 'trailer' is filled with more such slapstick humour due to the physics engine of GTA 5 not being able to do the things GTA 6 can.
The recreation is pretty faithful, adapting the trailer shot-for-shot, as much as GTA 5 allows. We then see Michael drive to a store and punch the guy he's supposed to be making collections from. Instead of the beautiful first-person shot of the plane flying over the highway, we see it crash onto the street. Typical GTA 5 shenanigans.
CloseThe best part comes when the trailer recreates the part where Jason picks up Lucia from jail, only it's Trevor in a pretty summer dress. And yes, we even get shots of them getting intimate like in the GTA 6 version. Surely, this is in someone's GTA fan-fiction. Trovor even recreates what was the highlight of the trailer for many – the close up shot of Lucia from behind. Jury's out on who did it better.
Unfortunately, there were no realistic beer bubbles or Phil Cassidy during the shot of the Ammunation ad, but the recreation makes up for it by giving us a sensual dance between Michael and Trevor. Multiple times. There's also a shot of Trevor jumping on Michael on the couch while the physics completely freak out.
It was only a matter of time before someone was going to do this, but no one imagined they would swap Lucia for Trevor.
