Getting your main's signature five-star weapon can be quite difficult in Genshin Impact. However, Hoyoverse offers enough amazing four-star F2P options for each character to shine. There's no real need to buy the Battle Pass purely for a BP weapon from an improvement standpoint.

The Best DPS Characters In Genshin Impact, Ranked

Genshin Impact has an ever-growing cast of characters, but not all of them can dish out serious damage. Here are the best DPS options, ranked.

However, if you're buying one anyway, you should know which Battle Pass weapons are the best, and which are better to stay away from. All of them have roughly the same stats, giving your character a decent amount of attack and a hefty stack of Crit Rate. As such, we'll be ranking them based on their passives, as well as how they compare to other options!

10 Talking Stick

The Talking Stick feels more like an experiment than an actual weapon made for use, and its name doesn't help either. It does grant you both ATK and Elemental DMG buffs, but only if you're afflicted with specific elements. This means that for most characters, you'd have to make use of the environment or enemy attacks to get the buffs.

Pairing Razor with Bennett is currently the only way to activate both passives with any consistency.

On paper, the talking stick seems useless. In actual use, it seems to be just as useless as you'd first think. There are ways to apply an element to yourself to exploit the ability, but there are no good teams that can consistently do that.

9 The Viridescent Hunt

The The Viridescent Hunt is one of the more interesting weapons in Genshin. Instead of directly affecting the character, it shoots out a tiny cyclone that deals damage and pulls in enemies.

The crowd control ability may seem convenient at first, but it's incredibly weak. Furthermore, even if the weapon had a strong enough grouping ability, the existence of Anemo characters such as Venti, who can provide grouping and also have access to the Viridescent Venerer set, one of the strongest support sets in the game, makes the weapon almost completely obsolete.

8 Sacrificial Jade

Sacrificial Jade grants your active character bonus HP and Elemental Mastery if they take the field after five seconds. This bonus stays for ten seconds, which is almost the same time as Bennett's Burst duration.

Characters with longer rotations such as Mualani may have to play around the passive, making the teams more uncomfortable to play.

It's an excellent weapon for characters that can make use of its passives. However, only Mualani can properly do so currently, along with Neuvilette in certain Vape teams. However, even then, the existence of strong F2P alternatives such as Ring of Yaxche and Prototype Amber makes this weapon feel unnecessary.

7 Scion Of The Blazing Sun

Scion of the Blazing Sun is a bow made for charged attack users, much like Hamayumi. When you deal damage to an enemy, it deals an additional instance and then marks the enemy hit. This mark makes you deal increased charged attack damage to said enemy.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Lyney

Lyney is a flexible character who can use all kinds of weapons in Genshin Impact, but these weapons will give you the most value.

The passive is very strong, and characters like Ganyu and Lyney can make great use of it. However, since the passive only takes effect on a single enemy at a time, its actual potential is locked only to battling bosses.

6 The Black Sword

The The Black Sword has been one of the strongest swords in the game for a long time, simply due to the value a Crit Rate stat has on a sword. Its passive increases the damage of your normal and charged attack hits, and has an added bonus of healing you based on your attack each time you Crit.

The healing adds no benefit to your team's DPS, but the attack bonus is strong. However, the lack of any good hypercarries that use a sword and perform normal or charged attacks makes it an excellent sword with no excellent wielder.

5 Deathmatch

The Deathmatch is another strong weapon due to the stats it provides. On top of the Crit Rate, the passive also gives you a bonus to your ATK stat, increasing even further if you're against a single enemy.

Even without the condition being locked behind single-target combat, the passive still wouldn't be all that great. ATK is much less viable than DMG Bonus or other offensive stats, and the existence of great ATK buffers like Bennett lowers the weapon's need even further.

4 Solar Pearl

The Solar Pearl is one of the best general use Catalysts in the game, rivaled only by higher refinements of the Widsith. It makes your Elemental Skill and Burst do more damage when you use your normal attacks, and vice versa.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Mualani

These weapons will help you destroy everything within seconds while playing Mualani in Genshin Impact.

Both of these can work at the same time, so characters that use both to deal damage, such as Ningguang, use it best. Furthermore, it's granting Crit Rate instead of either HP or ATK means it isn't tied to any specific scaling, making it an excellent peak for HP scalers like Neuvilette as well.

3 Wolf Fang

Where the Black Sword buffs your normal attack damage, Redwolf Fang buffs how strong your Elemental Skill and Burst are. Apart from directly buffing the damage, Wolf Fang also provides a ton of Crit Rate.

What puts this above the Black Sword is partially the lack of normal attack characters that use a sword, but also the absurd amount of Crit Rate provided by this weapon. For characters that deal damage with both their Skill and Burst, such as Alhaitham, a highly-refined Wolf Fang can give premium options such as the Mistsplitter a run for their Primogems.

2 Ballad Of The Fjord

Weapons and characters that have specific team building requirements can either be extremely strong, or completely lackluster. Fortunately, Ballad of the Fjords is among the former. So long as you have three different elements in the team, it grants you a huge Elemental Mastery (EM) bonus.

Due to how much EM it provides, higher refinements of Ballad of the Fjord are the best option for Hyperbloom triggers like Raiden, despite the Crit Rate being wasted.

This may not seem too strong at first, but at R1 it already outperforms other Hutao and Rosaria options due to it providing both Crit Rate and EM. At R5, it grants more Elemental Mastery than a fully leveled Dragon's Bane, on top of the already absurdly strong Crit stat.

1 Serpent Spine

The Serpent Spine has always been a cut above the rest in terms of BP weapons. Even after Fontaine's five new additions to the roster, it remains at the top. Serpent Spine's grants you a damage bonus for every second you're on the field and don't take damage, in exchange for taking more damage as well.

Not only is the damage bonus it gives unparalleled by any other four-star weapon, but the drawback can be easily countered using a shielder, or simply dodging. If you manage to keep your stacks, the weapon can effortlessly outperform even its five-star alternatives.
