We're slowly getting into summer, so now we're starting to see summer sales. One of those sales can be found on GOG, where it is already in full swing, with many excellent games discounted to varying degrees.

There is quite a range of titles on sale, from fairly recent releases to classic games. Naturally, some offers are better than others. Since there are so many games on sale, it can be time-consuming to look through them all. To make things easier, here is a selection of the best deals.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered

Mechanically, the remasters aren't hugely different, as they're more of just a visual upgrade with a few additional gameplay improvements. That said, there is still a real charm to them, and it's easy to see why these titles were so beloved back in the day. This collection of all three games is 60 percent off in the GOG sale.

Yakuza Complete Series

$45.35

Pretty much every game in the Yakuza (aka Like a Dragon) series is an exceptional action-adventure game. Each one offers great storytelling, fun beat 'em up combat, and plenty of silly humor.

Seven of these great games feature in the Yakuza Complete Series, including Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Yakuza 5 Remastered, and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life. So, all the main games before the 2020 reboot are in the collection. And in the GOG sale, it's 60 percent off at $45.35.

Hitman: Blood Money

$1.19

Hitman: Blood Money is 20 years old by this point, but it still ranks among the best Hitman titles ever. This is because the game gives you well-designed levels and an incredible amount of freedom. That freedom allows you to think of clever ways to take out your targets with no hand-holding whatsoever.

It doesn't feel smooth to play by today's standards, but it's worth experiencing for anyone who enjoys stealth games with few restrictions, especially when it's currently 90 percent off.

Banishers: Ghosts Of New Eden

$19.35

One of the most underrated games in recent memory is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. It's an action RPG centered on two people who banish ghosts for a living. Gameplay-wise, this means investigating deaths and looking for possible reasons why a ghost is haunting a subject. You also spend plenty of time fighting spirits as you go about your business.

The investigations are more fun than the combat, but the best part of the game is the writing and emotional storytelling. The game is currently available for $19.35, which is a 66 percent saving.

Firewatch

$3.79

Firewatch is a first-person narrative adventure game where you play as a man named Henry, who is starting his job as a fire lookout. The work you do isn't as important as the conversations you have with Henry's boss, Delilah. The brilliance of the game comes from their chemistry.

The two have some fascinating conversations while you do your job. These discussions get more and more compelling as you play. The game is currently 80 percent off, meaning it's $3.79.

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut

$10.09

Disco Elysium is a CRPG about a hungover detective who has amnesia. As him, you must investigate a recent murder. This involves going around, talking to a bunch of people, making dialogue choices, and passing skill checks.

This may sound simple, but there is a lot of depth to the character progression and conversation trees. And it's all elevated due to the game's captivating writing. It's truly one of the best games of its kind. In the sale, it's available for $10.09, which is 75 percent off.

Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition

$3.05

When you hear people discussing underrated games, Sleeping Dogs almost always comes up. This is because it's a brilliant third-person open-world game that focuses heavily on hand-to-hand combat. That combat feels incredibly smooth and satisfying.

The story of a Hong Kong police officer going undercover in the Triads makes for a riveting tale, too. Right now, you get to experience this open-world classic for less than $5.

Control Ultimate Edition

$6.65

While Control is technically an action-adventure game, it isn't like any other title in the genre at all. In it, you visit the very strange headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control. It's called the Oldest House, and you spend the entire game there, trying to stop the invasion of a species called the Hiss.

Your adventure around this place is filled with enemy encounters that allow you to use your strange pistol and even stranger powers to get the better of them. It's such a weird and wonderful game. Right now it's available for $6.65.

Frostpunk 2

$24.05

Frostpunk 2 is a city builder set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been frozen over. This means that not only do you have to build the place up, but you also have to try to keep people alive. Therefore, you must make a series of tough decisions to try to do what's best for your people.

Other city builders don't test your morals as much as this one, so it certainly stands out among the pack. GOG is currently offering the game for $24.05, which is 50 percent off.

Metro 2033 Redux

$2.25

Metro 2033 Redux is a remastered version of the first game in the Metro series. It's a very atmospheric first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world where many survivors live in the metro station beneath Moscow.

It's a more measured, slower-paced FPS game than many others in the genre, with tension taking precedence over fast-paced action. In fact, at times it's even scary. Overall, the game is great and probably seems even better when you can get it under $5.
