With no sign of the third trailer, GTA 6 fans are starting to get worried. Posts cropping up in the game’s dedicated subreddit openly worry that Rockstar is keeping quiet because it has another delay planned—despite pre-orders going live just last month and continued assurances that marketing will begin this summer.

It might be farfetched, but considering Rockstar’s willingness to push projects back again and again for polish, it’s not too surprising that some fans are anxious about another delay. However, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick just reaffirmed in a letter to shareholders that the game is on track for November 19.

Zelnick goes as far as to say that Take-Two Interactive expects an operating cash flow of more than $1 billion in fiscal year 2027, which spans from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

“We are excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead – for our players, our company, and our shareholders,” Zelnick wrote. “Fiscal year 2027 has the potential to be a major inflection point for our company, defined by groundbreaking entertainment experiences – led by the planned November 19th release of Grand Theft Auto 6 – creative and operational excellence, and record net bookings.”

Take-Two Is Confident In “The Planned” November 19 Launch

Elsewhere in the document, in the Compensation Discussion and Analysis section, Take-Two Interactive again reiterates “the planned launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 on November 19th” in a list highlighting some of the business’ recent achievements.

“The Grand Theft Auto series continued to outpace expectations significantly and demonstrated strong momentum leading up to the planned launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 on November 19th,” the document reads. “We had strong engagement driven by A Safehouse in the Hills – one of the best-performing updates in history. Sales of Grand Theft Auto 5 advanced further, with nearly 230 million units sold-in to date. GTA+ also delivered significant growth year-over-year, driven by successful seasonal updates and highly attractive monthly benefits, such as the inclusion of NBA 2K26 in its games library.”

So, while Rockstar might not have released the third trailer yet, the summer is far from over and there’s still plenty of time for that marketing boost Zelnick keeps teasing.

Though unfortunately, while the game does appear to be on track for November 19, accusations have been levied against Rockstar for enabling crunch at the studio throughout development and up until launch. “Crunch is prevalent enough that the company built into our contracts, as standard, an opt out of the Working Time Regulations that stops your employer being able to ask you to do more than about ten hours extra each week,” a member of the Rockstar Game Workers Union said to Game Developer. "Part of the problem with crunch is that there is not an agreed definition, and now it seems the company thinks that offering specific and limited compensation as an incentive for overtime means it no longer qualifies as crunch."
