Hades 2: How To Get Iris

Iris is one of the Greeneries added to Hades 2 with the release of the Olympic Update. Similar to other flowers, it is used to do some incantations at the Cauldron in the Crossroads. Aside from being exclusive to Mount Olympus, getting Iris is somewhat RNG-dependant. Before you can begin, however, you will need to progress through the Surface after defeating Polyphemus as well as Eris.

This guide covers everything there is to know about farming the Iris flower from Mount Olympus and its uses in some incantations. These will give you some advantage in your runs.

How To Get Iris

Iris is a Greenery exclusive to Mount Olympus. In order to get to the region, you will need to go through the entirety of the Surface. This is fairly challenging on its own, requiring you to do a couple of incantations at the Cauldron. You can learn more about surviving the Surface in our detailed guide.

You will also need to defeat Polyphemus, Infamous Cyclops, and Eris, Strife Incarnate to be able to access Mount Olympus.

Once you have reached Mount Olympus, continue to go through the rooms until you see a blueish-white flower somewhere. As mentioned earlier, it is completely RNG-dependant, so there is no telling which rooms will have it.

In our runs, we came across at least one Iris — sometimes two. We also recommend performing the following incantations at the Crossroads before a run:

• Reagent Sensing: After an encounter is completed, a Silver Wisp will guide you to resources (not specific to Reagents only) in the next room.
• Observance of Gaia's Secrets: You have a 20 percent chance to get an additional resource while farming.
