Learn how to reach Olympus in Hades 2!
PostsBeing exclusive to Olympus, you will need to progress through a few regions and best a handful of bosses before acquiring them. You will also need to have the Silver Spade unlocked before starting. This guide will help you farm Olive Branches on Mount Olympus and grow them into Olives using the Soil Plots at the Crossroads.
How To Get Olives
The first thing that you need to do is to prioritize Silver Spade in your Gathering Tools. You can do this right before heading up the Surface. Once you have done that, progress through the Surface until you reach Mount Olympus.
You will need to defeat Polyphemus in the City of Ephyra and Eris in the Rift of Thessaly in order to access Olympus.
Once you have arrived in Olympus, start searching for dirt mounds — these are circular patches of dirt sparkling brightly. Whenever you see one, approach it, and press RB / R1 to dig the Olive Branch — similar to materials like Thalamus, Nightshade, etc.
As mentioned earlier, Olive Branches are exclusive to Olympus, so you will not find them anywhere else.
After you have farmed a few Olive Branches from Olympus, return to the Crossroads and plant them at the Soil Plots. You can easily create Soil Plots by performing the Flourishing Soil incantation at the Cauldron.
You will need to complete a total of 24 encounters before harvesting Olives from the Soil Plots, so head back to Olympus for another showdown against Prometheus, Titan of Foresight. And if you are having trouble with it, we have a detailed guide covering every aspect of the fight.
