Halo Infinite Is Getting A Third-Person Mode
While there are a fair amount of fans who are interested in trying it out, others are frustrated to see that this is the next feature that will be added to the game.
"The fortnite-ification of Halo is so depressing," replies @TwoQuick0nes.
"Once a pioneer of gaming now chases the trends of games made after it", says @EndymionYT. "Sad to see but what can you do."

Posts By Jade KingOf course, Fortnite is far from the only third-person shooter out there. But it is possible that this is being added to the game to encourage fans of games like the battle royale to give Halo Infinite a go. With third-person, 343 might be hoping that they find Halo Infinite more approachable. At the very least, it's optional, so anyone who wants a more traditional Halo experience can stick with how they're playing now.
In any case, it's been a rough few years for the Halo series. While Halo Infinite is still going with updates, it has stopped getting new seasons. A rumoured battle royale game was reportedly cancelled too, although the project was never announced in the first place. Then, there was the TV show adaptation, which was a disaster, getting cancelled after two seasons.
