Of the many minion types in Hearthstone Battlegrounds, the Naga are certainly one of the stronger ones as a whole. As is the case with most minion types, Naga units work well with other Naga units, making it quite easy and appealing to draft a full Naga team, especially considering they have access to the likes of Taunt, Windfury, and Divine Shield.

With that in mind, some Naga minions can bring a great deal of value to your team without being reliant on other Naga cards. As such, those more independently functioning minions will be ranked higher than those more dependent on a team full of Naga. 10 Shell Collector
Shell Collector makes it to this list because he is one of the strongest tier-one minions in the game, let alone one of the strongest Naga cards. His stat body of three-attack, one-health allows him to trade well with most other tier-one minions, however, the Coin he provides you is where the real value is. With this one extra mana, you can level up your tavern tier on turn three and buy another minion, instead of only taking one of these actions due to lack of mana.
9 Snail Cavalry
Snail Cavalry is one of the better tier two minions on the whole due to its ability to stack health with its passive. This allows it to trade pretty well throughout the early game and mitigate the damage you take if you’re trying to scale to your late-game powerhouse minions.
This isn’t a minion you typically want in your end-game team, but it is a great one to help you get there, which is why it is ranked where it is.
8 Deep-Sea Angler
Deep-Sea Angler is on this list because she allows you to give any minion Taunt on a whim. You don’t even need to have a Naga-focused team to make great use of this; all you have to do is slap the Taunt Spellcraft spell on your highest health minion (or whatever minion you want taking all the damage on your team), and you can better control how the enemy team trades with yours.

True, Taunt isn’t the most powerful keyword in the game, but it is powerful nonetheless. That, coupled with the fact that Deep-Sea Angler doesn’t need to be on a Naga-focused team to provide value, ranks her at number eight.
7 Pashmar The Vengeful
Pashmar the Vengeful is an interesting card to be sure. Since he gives you free Spellcraft spells based on the Avenge mechanic, he doesn’t need to be on a Naga-focused team to provide value.
In fact, if you are running a swarm team centered around Mechs, Beasts, or Demons, sticking Pashmar on your board may prove worthwhile as you’ll be raking in plenty of Spellcraft spells to help you through the mid-game. That said, the early-tier Spellcraft spells aren’t the strongest, which is why he’s not ranked higher on the list.
6 Warden Of Old
Warden of Old, simply put, is a solid minion. By no means should she be taken into your end-game team, but she is an excellent inclusion to your team during the early and mid-game as she can funnel you some Coins to play with. If you get a Baron Rivendare on your board with her, that’s even better, but never underestimate the value of extra mana in this game.
5 Eventide Brute
Eventide Brute is a particularly strong minion that isn’t overly dependent on being on a Naga-focused team. He is a stacking machine, as he can infinitely gain stacks as long as you’re casting spells. However, while the Spellcraft spells of the Naga minions are your most reliable source of spells to buff up Eventide Brute, sticking this guy on the board while running the likes of a Quilboar team could buff him up fast too, as you’ll be casting a bunch of Blood Gems.
Even so, having him on a team full of Quilboar can feel a bit clunky, ultimately making him pretty dependent on a Naga-focused team to shine to his fullest potential.
4 Lava Lurker
Lava Lurker is an incredible minion and one you absolutely want on your Naga-focused team. Its ability to keep the effects of the first Spellcraft spell cast on it each round (and when it’s a golden minion, it keeps the first two Spellcraft spells) is invaluable, making it not only a stacking machine, but a minion capable of having Taunt, Windfury, and Divine Shield, which makes it a better stacking machine than Eventide Brute by default.

That said, it is rather dependent on other Naga minions to provide it with the desired Spellcraft spells, more so than Eventide Brute, which is why it’s not ranked higher. But the fact that it can attain all those keywords (and a big stat body) makes it all too valuable.
3 Waverider
Waverider is on this list for pretty much the same reason as Deep-Sea Angler: it doesn’t need to be on a Naga-focused team to provide value. The main reason it’s ranked far higher up on the list though is that Windfury is, generally speaking, a better keyword than Taunt.
Being able to put Windfury on one of your carry minions in your end-game team is a scary sight, as it can really trade well as a result. But, Windfury isn’t the strongest keyword in the game, which is why Waverider isn’t ranked higher.
2 Corrupted Myrmidon
Corrupted Myrmidon is the ultimate big boy of the Naga minions. As a regular minion, it doubles its stats at the start of combat, and as a golden minion, it triples its stats. This allows Corrupted Myrmidon to become truly massive, and the best part is, he doesn’t need to be on a Naga-focused team to get that big.
In fact, he excels quite well on a mixed-minion team, as the likes of Menagerie Jug, Lightfang Enforcer, or Aggem Thorncurse can effortlessly buff him up. As such, Corrupted Myrmidon is your ultimate carry from the pool of Naga minions. But, he’s not the best one. That spot is reserved for….
1 Glowscale
The ultimate Naga minion, Glowscale provides the most coveted keyword in the game: Divine Shield. Aside from certain Hero Powers, there are only two reliable ways to get rid of a Divine Shield: Tunnel Blaster and Leeroy the Reckless (because he just kills the minion that killed him outright).
Outside these answers, Glowscale allows you to stick a Divine Shield right on your biggest, most threatening minion, giving it far more survivability (especially against Poisonous minions). As a consequence, she excels on both Naga-focused teams and literally any other type of team. It doesn’t get better than that.
