When Is The Imagination Celebration Event?

For 2025, the Imagination Celebration will occur from April 18 to May 22. This is a primary event, which means that it happens for quite a long time. Additionally, being a primary event means that you will find the kiosk for it directly off the main plaza.

If this is your first Hello Kitty Island Adventure event, it's important to note that events in this game don't really involve a story. Instead, your goal is to collect Mystic Stones and trade them in for event items.

How To Get Mystic Stones

Mystic Stones are primarily obtained in two different ways, depending on the device that you play the game on.

Apple Arcade

If you are playing on Apple Arcade, you will find one Imagination Celebration chest around the Seaside Resort, which has seven Mystic Stones. There is only one chest per day, but if you miss a day, then the extra stones will accumulate.

The chest is found anywhere in the area, so you'll need to do some running around. It's not marked on the map, but the chest is noticeable, as it is bright green with gold accents.

This means that if you miss one day, then the next day you can find 14 Mystic Stones in two separate chests. This will only accumulate for three days, which means that the maximum amount of Mystic Stones that you will see is 21.

PC & Nintendo Switch

If you play Hello Kitty Island Adventure on anything besides Apple Arcade, there are no Imagination Celebration chests. Instead, the Mystic Stones are found around the island, just like any other resource. You'll be able to pick them up off the ground.

The stones will be found around the Seaside Resort, lying outdoors. In total, you can find seven. This means you'll need to do some running around if you want to get them all.

As with the Apple Arcade version of the game, these will accumulate for three days. If you haven't collected Mystic Stones for three days, then you can find a maximum of 21 stones.

This accumulation of Mystic Stones takes away the pressure of playing Hello Kitty Island Adventure every single day. Sometimes, life happens, and if you miss a day, you won't be penalized for it.

Mystic Stones Through Daily Quests

Regardless of the platform you play on, you can get up to four Mystic Stones each day by completing daily quests. These are the typical daily quests that you can do each day, such as catching a certain fish or giving gifts to island residents.

Be sure to complete these quests to get four Mystic Stones, as well as find the other seven in the Seaside Resort. If you do both, you can get a total of 11 Mystic Stones each day.

How To Obtain Previous Imagination Celebration Event Items

Lastly, let's go over how to get items from years past. By visiting the shops of My Melody and Tuxedosam, you can purchase furniture and clothes from previous years. As with all items offered at these shops, the selection is random.

For example, on the first day of the event, Tuxedosam was offering the Kuromi Princess Hat for one Mystic Stone, five Fabric, and ten Violet Dye Pouches. Rather than just paying in Mystic Stones, furniture and clothing purchased this was will cost additional materials.

Overall, just check in both of these shops each day, and you may find one of the previous Imagination Celebration items on sale.
