Hideki Kamiya Does Not Want You To Ask Him About Dante's Privates
Summary
- Over the weekend, someone asked Hideki Kamiya how big Dante's private parts are.
- Kamiya refused to give an answer, shutting the question down every quickly.
- It's not very surprising - fans do like to ask him some weird questions online.
Isn't it lovely how social media connects creatives with their fans? Well, actually, it's terrible, and by now, we're all well aware of this. Honestly, to survive being a creative on any online platform, it's probably best that you set some boundaries, which Hideki Kamiya has down to an art at this point.
If you want an example of this, look no further than this interaction that Kamiya had with a fan of his work over the weekend. With the internet being how it is, the Devil May Cry director was, naturally, asked about Dante's private parts. Because why not?
Hideki Kamiya Isn't Going To Tell Us How Big Dante's Schlong Is
Sorry, everyone. Just use your imagination.
This weekend, a brave soul asked Kamiya the most pressing question in the Devil May Cry community: "How big is Dante’s penis?". If a response is what they wanted, a response is what they got, although it didn't answer the actual question.
"Is it already summer vacation for elementary schools overseas?" Hideki replied, firmly shutting down the conversation. Ouch.
Of course, Kamiya is known to tweet like this, so this is very unsurprising. If anything, this is a wonderful little addition to the lore - and probably a very quick way to join his block list.
On a separate note, also do not ask Kamiya about the future of the Devil May Cry series. He was also asked about a possible Devil May Cry 6 over the weekend, but wasn't too happy about this, and told fans to direct their questions to Capcom instead. Which makes sense, since Capcom owns the IP, and he hasn't been with the studio since 2006.
