After a long wait, HoYoverse has finally revealed a new game in the beloved Honkai series during the second anniversary concert of Honkai: Star Rail. While the official name for the new game wasn't revealed, the community might have already figured it out.

Ever since the release of Genshin Impact, HoYoverse has dominated the gacha genre of gaming by both updating its existing games with new content and releasing various new titles like Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero, with the latter being their latest title released on July 4, 2024.

After a long wait of nearly a year since their last title, the company has finally revealed their next game during the "Star Rail Live" concert live stream, and it's another installment in the Honkai series.

The New Honkai Game Will Feature Both Kiana And Blade

As the second anniversary concert live stream for Honkai: Star Rail was about to end, the screen went dark, and Kiana's voice broke the silence as she greeted everyone in Chinese. The screen then lit u,p showing her standing at the door of a building, with her pet creature soon being the main focus on the screen.

Kiana is from Honkai Impact 3rd, and right after that, the screen showed Blade from Honkai: Star Rail. There was a frame sandwiched between these two characters that showed another couple of characters with their pets, both of whom are likely new characters introduced with the next game in the Honkai series.

During the small trailer, Kiana mentions that she's in a new world with new challenges, and then a screen with silhouettes of various characters appeared, with the title revealing that it'll be a new Honkai game. While there wasn't much information about the game revealed officially, the main premise will likely revolve around the pets moving with each character.

Star Rail Universe, one of the prominent sources for Star Rail news, also found a couple of new Honkai accounts appearing on X with the name Honkai: Nexus Anima. This could be the name of the new title as well. While there are many Honkai titles released by HoYoverse, this will be the third main addition after Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail.
