Everyone has their own way of playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Some will master the sword, while others will use their wit to handle a situation. Almost every one of us puts the first major talk of the game off until there's nothing left to do. However, we may not fully understand why. Perhaps it's the thrill of exploration or just the love for medieval life.
Why Is Nobody Going To The Wedding In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?
Not going to the wedding has become sort of a meme in the community. While everyone's making fun of Henry avoiding the big occasion and, in turn, his duty, players have discussed just why they have been putting the wedding off. A post on the game's subreddit has sparked a discussion about it.
"In theory, gameplay wise, there are many moments when you can pause the main story and just run around, but narratively, most of the time you are supposed to be doing something in the main quest - in both games," said hatterine in their Reddit post. "There is some next objective which is waiting for you, However before the Wedding... there is nothing like this.
The Wedding will happen at some unspecified moment in time and all you can do is prepare for when the day, which can be anytime between a week and a month ahead, happens. This one time in the story you are waiting for it."
Another player pointed out that the "time in Trosky felt so carefree before the castle and fort stuff." It's true, though. Learning the ropes of the game and exploring the area before things got too serious felt like such an easy time. Once you meet von Bergow, Zizka and the rest, things get too serious and Henry feels obliged to not waste much time in medieval peasantry.
