Just like in Kingdom Hearts 2, which saw you tracing every step of the Kingdom Hearts universe in search of thirteen orichalcum (you can also find seven pieces of orichalcum+ in Kingdom Hearts 3), you will be spending much of your in-game time hunting down useful resources and collectibles to build keyblades, formchanges and obtain trophies. With this trusty guide, you will have all Hercules dolls in mere minutes.

How To Start The Golden Hercules Figures Quest

Thankfully, collecting the five Golden Hercules Figures won't pose too much of a challenge - in fact, once you begin this side quest after assisting Hercules in defeating the Titans from his 1997 movie and tying up some loose ends in Twilight Town (you need only visit Twilight Town after defeating the Titans before you are able to return to Thebes), you can return to Thebes - of the Olympus World - to begin a side quest where you search for a young boy's five missing Golden Hercules Figures.

The first step on this mini sidequest is to locate the boy wanting the Herc dolls. Thankfully, this is easy to do. When you arrive in Agora, Thebes, head to the other side of Thebes Square and you will find him standing next to a toy store/stand. Once you speak to him, you will begin the side quest.

Golden Hercules Figure 1 - The Bench In Overlook

Earlier on in the game, you will have tracked down the Mini Map - arguably the most useful item in the game - which will prove to be inseparable as the game progresses. Interestingly, one of the Golden Hercules Figures is at this same location, right next to the bench in the Overlook district. With this location also being host to a warp point, there is no Herc doll easier to find than this one.

Golden Hercules Figure 2 - The Shield Statue In Overlook

Not too far away from the bench is a giant statue which you will have surely noticed. If you slide down the roof area in Overlook, you can land on the shield of this statue. There, you will find the next Golden Herc Figure, lying peacefully upon the shield. Make sure to enjoy the view whilst visiting.

Be careful not to miss your jump and fall while sliding down, as you will need to find your way back up again.

Golden Hercules Figure 3 - The Fissure In Garden

There are two Golden Herc Figures in the Garden area. The first of the dolls is sitting lonely within a fissure/hole at the far end of the Garden. However, you can enter the Garden from either end, so make sure to search both of them, should you have trouble locating the fissures.

Once you have tracked down the fissures, you are more than welcome to jump in and grab the doll.

Golden Hercules Figure 4 - The House In Garden

After having obtained the doll situated in the Garden fissures, do not leavethe Garden area yet! There is a second Golden Herc Figure in the Garden area. You can easily find this one within the large house (you will have defeated some Heartless there, earlier), standing upon a bench right next to the entrance.

The room has relatively low brightness, but the light of the entrance is enough to make this particular doll stand out for Sora to collect.

Golden Hercules Figure 5 - The Warehouse In Alleyway

Lastly, you will have to head to the Alleyway, which is easily accessible from Thebes Square - the area where you first spoke to the young boy who sent you on this sidequest. Once "Alleyway" pops up in the corner, proceed to take an immediate right into the warehouse (if you come from the other direction, it will be left towards the end of the Alleyway). In the far left corner, you will see a stack of boxes with the final Herc doll standing in front.

Rewards - Return To The Boy

Once you have obtained all five Golden Hercules Figures, you may then return to the young boy, who will be situated at the same location in Thebes Square. The child will be made up to finally complete the collection of his favorite Hercules figures and will reward you with the Hero's Belt - which will, when worn, grant you an increase to your defense and magic boost. A worthy addition to any Keyblade wielder's attire collection!
