Waddling around the islands in Lil Gator Game on your own two stumpy legs can grow a little tedious after a while. Although gliding down a mountain can be handy, why glide when you can slide in style on your very own shield?

From dinner plates to skateboards, you'll be able to find a range of shields to protect your lil' hero on their island adventure and have fun in the process. After all, the only limit to your fun will be your imagination and the number of friends you're willing to help along the way.
How To Get Shields
There are two ways to get a shield on your adventure:
- Receiving a shield as a gift for completing a quest
- Receiving a recipe to craft a shield after completing a quest
Once you find a new shield or recipe, you'll see a notification appear on the bottom left of your screen with an image of your shield and a prompt to press the corresponding button and quick-open the menu.
Altogether, there are 11 shields to find (technically: 12) on the islands. Here's a complete list of each shield and how to earn them.

Green And Blue Scooter
Kasen
Jump off the ledge where Kasen paces into the green area down below to find the green scooter broken in front of a large tree monster.Repair the scooter for 50scraps. At this point, your quest asks you to return the scooter. If you prefer to keep the green scooter and don't care about finishing all the friend quests, do not speak to Kasen again. If you wish to have the Blue Scooter, talk to Kasen again to receive the subsidized crafting recipe.

If you don't know how to access your shields, you can press - on your Nintendo Switch controller of TAB on your PC to open the menus you need (crafting and items). It's the same menu where you can see all your hats, weapons, shields, and belt items. To change shields, it's as simple as selecting the shield you wish to wear.
If you haven't already crafted your shield, selecting them as if you wish to wear it will automatically craft it.Take care when doing this if you're not ready to use your scraps. You cannot try on a shield before purchasing it, but once you have purchased it, you own it forever.
