Loungefly is well known for its high-end, quirky backpack designs, creating merch for big IPs like Marvel, Pokemon, and Hello Kitty. Its latest team-up might be the most unique crossover Loungefly has ever done, however, as the backpack brand has teamed up with KFC for some chicken-flavored merchandise.

Don't worry, the bags and wallet that make up the new Loungefly KFC range aren't literally chicken flavored. Although saying that, it wouldn't have been that out of the ordinary for these new crossover items to at least smell like fried chicken. Loungefly previously released a Cinammoroll backpack that smells like ice cream, and it seemed to be a big hit with fans of the Sanrio mascot.

Sanrio has kicked off 2025 with a bang by releasing a whole new Loungefly collection starring Hello Kitty and the gang.

No, these new KFC products are chicken-flavored in appearance alone, and there are three of them to choose from. The headliner is something Loungefly has dubbed the Chicken Bucket Sherpa Mini Backpack. The backpack is red and white, KFC's signature colors, with the front pocket designed to look like a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

There's chicken in the bucket too, and it really stands out. A few wings can be seen poking out of the top of the pocket - sorry, bucket - and they've been given a plush finish. Speaking of plush finish, although the bucket backpack is the headliner, my guess is the most popular product in KFC's Loungefly range will be the Drumstick Crossbody Bag.

The very unique Loungefly addition has quite literally been designed to look like an oversized fried chicken drumstick, and it has the same plush finish that you can find on the wings in the bucket. There's no risk of someone mistaking the bag's design for anything other than fried chicken either with a KFC logo in the middle, and the fast food chain's colors and branding printed along the strap.

Rounding out the Loungefly x KFC collection is the Colonel Sanders Wallet. Similar to the backpack, the wallet is decked out in KFC colors with the restaurant's logo on the front, complete with the Colonel's face. The wallet is the cheapest item in the KFC collection at $40, the backpack costs $80, and the crossbody bag is $75.
