If you've never bothered with them, or are new to the game, you may have been wondering exactly what rummage piles are and what to do with them. In this guide we'll discuss what they are, what you can find in them, and where to find them.

What Are Rummage Piles?

Close

Rummage Piles are another way for you to get loot in the game. In Kilima and Bahari Bay, the piles might reward you with certain types of furniture recipes, equipment, materials, or quest items.

In Elderwood, the rummage piles hold artifacts that you can turn into Elouisa to get Elouisa's Fun Bucks. You can then spend those in Elouisa's shop to get relic recipes.

How Do You Find Rummage Piles?

Every day, the rummage piles spawn in a different place, but it'll be the same place for all players. The Kilima and Bahari Bay piles spawn once a day,

and the Elderwood piles spawn twice a day.

In Kilima Valley, the piles will either spawn somewhere in the Mirror Pond Ruins or Leafhopper Hills. Bahari Bay rummage piles will appear around Beachcomber Cove and Coral Shores.

Elderwood rummage piles you can usually find in the Deep Woods or Mitana Grove, but they could spawn anywhere in Elderwood.

The rummage piles in Kilima and Bahari Bay you only need to interact with to search, but the ones in Elderwood need to be dug up using a Fine Hoe.

You can buy the Artifact Tracker from Elouisa at the Elderwood Central Stables for one Elouisa's Fun Bucks. This tracks the artifacts hidden in the rummage piles in Elderwood. When you're within a certain range, the pile icon will appear on your compass and will lead you to the location of the piles.
