Palworld has a variety of flying Pals that can help you travel across the map. However, many of the faster ones are introduced quite late into the game and require more resources to catch them.

Faleris is also an end-game Pal you will usually encounter for the first time during your battle against Marcus at the PIDF Tower near Duneshelter. But catching it is impossible during the boss battle, so you'll have to explore the map to find a Faleris of your own later. Once you have caught one, it can be a tremendous help at your base and in your battles due to its speed.

Where To Find Faleris

Faleris can be found on a small island in the northeast corner of the map named No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary. However, you have to be extremely prepared before entering this area as it comes under the jurisdiction of PIDF, and they will attack you on sight. You will also get charged with a criminal offense for trespassing if you're seen by any PIDF member.

The closest Teleport Point near the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary is the Deep Sand Dunes, located towards the northeast of the Duneshelter village. If you're looking to catch Faleris, it is recommended that you unlock this Teleport Point because you might have to fast travel here often.

After teleporting to Deep Sand Dunes, you should summon a Pal that can fly you over the sea, so that you can reach this island easily. Faleris usually spawns on the island during the daytime, but you can also encounter it at night.

Faleris spawns fairly rarely, so you might have to travel to the island multiple times, and when you get there, you will have to explore and wait for it to spawn. Fortunately, the island is quite small, and you can easily circle around the area with a flying Pal.

How To Catch Faleris

You will encounter lots of PIDF Elite members on this island, so it is recommended that you bring tons of ammunition and high-level weapons, such as the Laser Rifle. Alongside the PIDF soldiers, there are plenty of strong Pals, other than Faleris, that you can encounter at the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary. So, your Pals should be at least around level 50 to comfortably stay on the island without dying.

Your team should include several Water-type Pals, such as Penking or Azurobe, as Faleris is a Fire-type Pal and is vulnerable to Water-type attacks. These Pals will be able to withstand several attacks from Faleris, such as the Ignis Rage or Phoenix Flare attack, while also dealing damage consistently, so you can bring its HP down enough to catch it.

Avoid bringing Grass-type Pals as they are weak to Fire-Type and may die quickly during the battle.

Once you've encountered Faleris in No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary, you will have to bring its HP down to a minimum of 20 percent to have a decent chance at catching it, otherwise, it will just deflect your Pal Spheres or have a very low Catch Rate. For the Pal Spheres, it is recommended that you bring at least Hyper Spheres or better.

Make sure not to accidentally kill Faleris while you're trying to catch it, and be ready to call your Pal back immediately if you think they might end up killing it. Once its HP is low enough, throw a Hyper Sphere at it to catch it. It might take a few tries if you do not have a Legendary or Ultra Sphere at hand, but it will be able to get the job done.

Faleris Utility And Stats

Faleris is one of the fastest flying mounts in the game, and while its speed may not be comparable to Jetragon, it still is quite fast compared to the rest of the flying Pals. You can unlock Faleris Saddle for three Technology Points at level 38.

If you've crafted the Saddle, you will be able to use Faleris' skill, Scorching Predator, to ride the Pal as a flying mount. Additionally, the Scorching Predator skill allows Ice Pals to drop more items after being defeated.

Faleris can be a massive help at your base due to its fast speed. With level 3 in Transporting, it can quickly transfer different types of materials to their destination. A level 3 in Kindling allows Faleris to finish any task that requires fire quickly.

If you're having a tough time catching Faleris, you can also breed it by putting a Vanwyrm and Anubis together in the Breeding Farm and storing the Cake in it. The breeding process will give you a Huge Scorching Egg which can then be incubated. However, catching Anubis can be a tough task on its own, and it is a lot easier to just catch Faleris from the No.3 Wildlife Sanctuary.
