Palworld is filled with all sorts of different Pals, and you'll want to collect as many as possible, especially the useful ones. One Pal that is far more useful than most is the Wumpo.
This is a very large ice-based creature that is great to have at your base. This is because they're suitable for various types of work, including cooling, transporting goods, lumbering, and handiwork. Plus, they increase the other Pals’ transporting level, too. Here is how you get one of these hard-working creatures.
Where To Find Wumpos
Wumpos like it cold, so you will have to travel all the way up to the Astral Mountains at the Northmost point of the map (some can often be found around the coordinates -287, 473).
You can get there on foot, but you will need to climb up a few mountains. So, if you have a flying mount, it's much easier to use that instead.
Regardless of your form of travel, you need to wrap up warm since it's very cold up there. Therefore, have a cold-resistant outfit ready to wear in your inventory, plus bring a torch. You should also take a fire Pal because if you summon them and have them walk around with you, they will heat you up.
Another advantage of a fire Pal is that they will be effective against Wumpos, who are typically level 40+. Yet, the big lugs won't attack you on sight, as they're friendly creatures. This means you can get ready before attacking.
To capture them, you should be using at least a Giga Sphere.
How To Breed Wumpos
If you don't want to hurt a lovable Wumpo, you can get one through breeding.
If you don't know how to breed, you need to craft a Breeding Farm, fill it with cake, and place both a male and a female Pal in the farm. What Pal you breed depends on what Pals you use.
A more thorough explanation of how breeding works in the game can be found here.
To get a Wumpo, there are almost a countless number of combinations of Pals you can use. Here are some of the options:

Incineram and Paladius
Mossanda Lux and Lyleen Noct
