The Paramaker in Paralives is far more detailed than you'd normally anticipate for a game like this, especially while in early access. For this reason, players immediately got to work using this character creator to recreate their favorite characters from various pieces of media and even some celebrities themselves.

The combination of skill shown by players and the capabilities of the Paramaker have resulted in designs that are borderline scary accurate. So, here are a few of the ones we've come across on social media and in the Steam Workshop that deserve a moment in the spotlight.

10 Jacksepticeye (Sean McLoughlin)

While he may not have played the game on his channel himself, that doesn't mean you can't have Jacksepticeye shouting 'top of the morning' to everyone in Melino on your own playthrough. User CynderFlame on Steam Workshop has even gone through the trouble of recreating his likeness for you.

If you'd like to expand your town with even more YouTubers, CynderFlame has also shared their design for Markiplier, who may or may not also double as a design for Keanu Reeves. So be sure to check out the rest of their designs as well in Steam Workshop!

9 Alex, Sam, and Clover

From Totally Spies!

If you were watching Cartoon Network back in 2001, or perhaps stumbled onto this trio via the recent reboot of the series, then Alex, Sam, and Clover from Totally Spies! probably need no introduction.

While they often get overlooked alongside another iconic Cartoon Network trio of color-coded heroes, it's nice to see one Paralives player, Idividual-Blood7599 on Reddit, taking the time to show these spies the respect they deserve. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the designs have been uploaded to Steam Workshop yet, but perhaps this will inspire you to attempt them yourself.

8 Maelle, Lune, Sciel, and Verso

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

While Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has a beautiful, melancholic story, it might be nice to see this group together in a setting that's a bit more joyful. So, if you want to give Verso the chance to pursue a fruitful musical career and others the chance to pursue a career in painting that doesn't nearly wipe out humanity, then why not add them to your town in Paralives?

User Yoki on the Steam Workshop was kind enough to go ahead and make the whole group, but it does utilize a few mods, so keep that in mind when downloading. Additionally, this set doesn't include Gustav, so you'll need to make him yourself if you'd like to rewrite the past for him.

Several of the designs on this list, including this one, use specific mod content to complete these looks, but you can see all utilized mods listed on the Steam Workshop page of the design.

7 Miles Morales

From Into The Spider-Verse

If there's one thing the almost comic book-style line art of Paralives is perfect for, it's recreating Spider-Verse characters, and what better character is there than Spider-Man himself (well, one of them), Miles Morales.

This design by ZOI Verse looks like Miles was ripped straight out of Earth-1610B and tossed into Melino. So, if you're looking to add some real heroes to your town, you can download this design straight from the Steam Workshop by searching for 'Miles Morales' and looking for the design by user ZOI Verse.

6 The Goth Household

From The Sims

If you've ever played The Sims, which I have to assume you have if you're playing Paralives, then you're probably incredibly familiar with the most iconic family in the neighborhood, the Goth family. Mortimer and Bella Goth's family has been around since the start of The Sims, and has remained a consistent playable household ever since.

Somehow, a game like this doesn't feel right without Mortimer, Bella, Cassandra, and Alexander Goth inhabiting your town, but thankfully, you don't have to miss them. Steam Workshop user Cometa Maria was kind enough to create the entire Goth household in Paralives and share it for you to download.

5 Sabrina Carpenter

Celebrity Recreation

If your town has been lacking some musical talent, then perhaps this recreation will inspire you to welcome Sabrina Carpenter herself. This design by karoline134 on Reddit has been generously shared for you to download directly from the Steam Workshop, where she goes by the username cats, and the design is listed as 'Sabrina Carpenter'.

With the level of skill you see in this recreation, it should come as no surprise that this Parafolk creator is on this list more than once, with a recreation even more impressive than this one.

4 Sophie

From Howl's Moving Castle

If you're looking to add some whimsical NPCs to your town that you can interact with, Sophie, specifically older Sophie, is the perfect way to add some adorable charm to your town. Her presence somehow just makes the rest of the town feel a little more cozy. Plus using older Sophie also helps keep your town from feeling weirdly overrun by young adults.

User Leelamut4ant has already put in the work to create her for you and listed this design in the Steam Workshop under the title 'Sophie - Howl's Moving Castle' where you can download it for yourself. With any luck, you might soon be able to find a design for Howl somewhere in the Steam Workshop too.

3 Cynthia Erivo

If, like me, you found yourself absorbed in all things Wicked these last few years, then adding Cythia Erivo to your town is a no-brainer. Thankfully for all of us, the hard work has been done for us as Tiff37neko on Reddit was kind enough to share her design via Steam Workshop, where you can download it directly by searching for 'Cynthia Erivo' and selecting the design by user Tiff.

Unfortunately, I've yet to find an Ariana Grande design that matches the radiance of this Cynthia design, so if you were hoping to add both Galinda and Elphaba to the town, you may have to attempt that one in the Paramaker yourself.

2 Jinx

From Arcane

While Jinx the character is obviously tied to League of Legends, this design by SpecOps FR on Steam Workshop is obviously inspired directly by her appearance in the TV show, Arcane.

So, if you're mourning the conclusion of the series following its final season, why not ease the pain by downloading SpecOps FR's spot-on design to have Jinx hanging around your town in Paralives. They do have two other versions of this design if you find you like one of the others better, but the one shown here is marked as their final version.

1 Taylor Swift

Celebrity Recreation

One of the most impressive designs by far has to be this recreation of the one and only Taylor Swift, which is also by cats on the Steam Workshop (karoline134 on Reddit). This recreation is not only incredible for almost perfectly capturing Taylor's appearance, but also for showing the seemingly endless potential of Paralives detailed character creator.

Considering that Paralives is still in early access, achieving this level of detail is borderline insanity. Of course, that's not to discredit the para-artist either. Creating characters in Paralives that are practically a 1:1 recreation of their reference is a masterful skill, even with great tools at your disposal. Cats, I hope you're prepared to take requests!
