The Garden of Edith scenario in Planet Coaster 2 starts off sweetly, offering you a massive park to decorate. However, this enormous park comes with equally large challenges. While the Bronze and Silver objectives are relatively easy, the Gold and Platinum objectives are exceptionally difficult.

The main challenge of this scenario lies in the fact that you can’t earn any income from the park. You’ll only receive money after completing objectives, so you must manage your funds wisely. With constant expenses and a race against time, this scenario will truly test your skills. Ready to take it on?

Garden Of Edith Bronze Objectives

The park in Garden of Edith is fairly large, so instead of spreading out too much, it’s a good idea to concentrate your layout in a specific area of the park. This way, your scenery can effectively boost the prestige of your attractions. The biggest challenge in this scenario is money. You cannot generate income from the park or take out loans.

Edith will only reward you with a significant amount of money after completing all same-rank objectives. Therefore, you must focus on buying affordable items. The bronze objectives are not too difficult and will require you to build a few rides and a pool.

Build A Pool

It’s a good idea to start by building the pool before the other objectives. The pool you construct must have at least 300 Pool Prestige. A moderately large pool should suffice. Since you’ll also need to build three flumes, avoid making the pool too small. Blueprint pools like the Starter Pool or Huge Pool are great choices in terms of size.

Remember, large pools generate the most Prestige points. Additionally, you can increase prestige by adding scenery, wave machines, and water jets. With the addition of three flumes, your pool will easily reach the required 300 Pool Prestige.

Have Three Flumes

After constructing your pool, you’ll need to add three flumes. For a more organized look, consider placing the flume stations side by side to save space. Note that each flume must have at least 250 Prestige. To increase their prestige, ensure your flumes offer a good ride experience. Aim for high Excitement with low Fear and Nausea levels.

Adjust speed settings and length appropriately to achieve these metrics. You can also place eye-catching scenery around your pool to aim for a near 100 percent scenery rating and gain additional prestige. If you prefer not to build custom flumes, the following flume blueprints have a prestige of 250 or higher:

  • Carve
  • Plunge Bowl
  • Outback
  • Singularity
  • Mat Race Lane
  • Raft Trap
  • Mat Master
  • H2Bowl

The Mat Race Lane blueprint contains three flumes, all of which meet the 250 Prestige requirement, making it a very convenient option. Similarly, Mat Master has four flumes and also exceeds 250 Prestige.

Have Two Flat Rides

This is a simple task—just build two good flat rides. You can utilize the three small grassy areas near the park entrance, surrounded by paths, as larger structures likely won’t fit there. To manage your budget effectively, choose the cheapest custom flat rides available.

Increase Your Scenery Rating To Two

To raise your scenery rating to two, add visually appealing elements throughout the park. If you don’t want to spend too much time designing scenery, using pre-made blueprints can help you quickly boost your scenery score. Since the park is quite large, you’ll need to add a significant number of scenery items.

Place them around your pool and flat rides to not only enhance the park’s appearance but also increase the prestige of those attractions.

Garden Of Edith Silver Objectives

The silver objectives are not particularly challenging. You’ll need to increase the number of your existing rides and build new attractions. Since there aren’t any difficult requirements, you can easily complete all the objectives. After completing the bronze objectives, you’ll receive $40,000.

However, you won’t earn any additional money until you finish all the silver objectives, so focus on purchasing affordable items. Avoid selling your flat rides, as future objectives will require you to have them.

Have Two Pools

One objective requires you to have a total of two pools. Additionally, one of your pools must have at least 400 Pool Prestige. If your first pool was built large and you improved its surrounding scenery, it will likely already exceed 400 Pool Prestige. Therefore, you don’t need to make the second pool overly large.

Have Four Flat Rides

Another objective requires you to increase your flat rides to a total of four. You likely built two flat rides while completing the bronze objectives. Simply build two more to easily meet this requirement. Place the new flat rides near scenery to boost their prestige. To manage your budget efficiently, purchase the most affordable custom flat rides available.

Increase Your Ride Average Maintenance

For this objective you need to increase ride average maintenance above 80 percent. Ensure you have enough mechanics on staff and respond quickly to maintenance alerts to keep your rides in good condition. This objective is straightforward and should be easy to achieve.

Build A New Coaster

Finally, you’ll need to build and open a new coaster that meets the following conditions:

  • At least two Excitement
  • Less than five Fear
  • Less than four Nausea

These conditions mean you should avoid creating a coaster that is too fast or extreme, as it would exceed the fear limit and produce too much nausea. However, it also shouldn’t be too tame, as excitement needs to remain high. While these requirements may seem numerous, they are relatively simple to meet. A calm and straightforward coaster will suffice.

Nearly all pre-built blueprints can fulfill these conditions. If you want to save time, opt for a blueprint instead of building a custom coaster.

Since future objectives will require additional coasters, avoid building a very large or expensive one for now. The 'Minder' coaster is a great choice and will meet your needs.

Garden Of Edith Gold Objectives

The gold objectives bring a sharp difficulty ramp as you finally see Betty Nana’s true nature. Upon completing the silver objectives, you’ll receive $62,000. However, you’ll need to focus on building two custom coasters and maintaining a clean park. With such limited funds, this can be challenging.

To make things easier, consider selling the first coaster you built for earlier objectives. You can also sell your secondary pool to generate extra income.

Build A New Coaster

One of the coasters you need to build must be a custom design due to its challenging requirements. Here are the conditions:

  • At least four and a half Excitement
  • At least two Fear
  • At least five Inversions

The toughest requirement might seem to be creating five inversions, but it’s not as hard as it sounds. First, ensure the custom coaster you’re building has 'Can Invert' listed in its Overview. Building the coaster slightly elevated allows you to use compact inversion tracks like the Finnish Loop, saving space while meeting the inversion requirement.

A coaster with five inversions will naturally satisfy the excitement and fear requirements as well.

Build Another New Coaster

Yes, you heard it right—you need to build yet another coaster. However, this time, the requirements are less strict. This coaster must have:

  • A biggest drop of at least 50 meters
  • A prestige score of at least 700

To achieve this, avoid placing the station too low. Use coaster types like the Energy Coaster or Multiverse Coaster, which feature special track designs, to create drops of 60–70 meters. Then, add a 90-degree vertical drop. Pay close attention to G-Force values during testing to ensure a smooth experience, and use the right track pieces for optimal results.

Additionally, decorate the coaster with scenery or special effects to boost its prestige score and meet the 700 Prestige requirement.

Have Five Flat Rides

After the challenging coaster objectives, this one is relatively easy. You likely already have four flat rides from the silver objectives. Simply add a fifth flat ride anywhere in your park to complete this task. To manage your budget efficiently, stick to the most affordable custom flat rides.

Reduce Total Vomit And Litter

This is another straightforward objective. You need to reduce total vomit and litter below 30. Ensure there are enough trash bins throughout your park. Additionally, hire sufficient janitors to maintain cleanliness. With these measures, you can keep vomit and litter under control and easily achieve this goal.

Garden Of Edith Platinum Objectives

After completing the gold objectives, you’ll receive $45,000. However, more challenging objectives await, so it may be beneficial to sell some of your previous assets. Specifically, consider selling the two coasters you built for the gold objectives to free up funds.

Build A New Coaster

Yes, it’s time to build yet another coaster. Fortunately, the requirements for this one aren’t overly difficult. The coaster must be:

  • At least 1,000 meters long
  • At least five Excitement

To meet these conditions, avoid selecting an expensive coaster type. Focus on constructing long tracks to maximize length without overspending. Since the coaster must also have decent excitement, aim for a design with a mix of action and smoothness.

Use long track pieces and incorporate elements like loops to add excitement. Leverage the large size of the garden by designing a coaster that takes guests on a scenic tour of the park.

Have Seven Flat Rides

If you haven’t sold your previous flat rides, you’ll only need to add two more to meet this requirement. Prioritize flat rides with high excitement and prestige, but be mindful of your budget, as you’ll need funds for other objectives. Place the new flat rides in well-decorated areas to further boost their prestige.

Increase Your Scenery Rating

You’ll need to raise your park’s scenery rating to four and a half. Doing this with custom scenery can be challenging, so consider using blueprints for efficiency. Keep in mind that your park isn’t generating income, so focus on scenery that provides a good rating boost for its cost.

If you find a cost-effective blueprint that significantly improves your rating, you can spam it across your park to complete this objective. To save resources, pause the game while placing scenery to avoid any unexpected expenses caused by ongoing park issues. Placing scenery near your rides can also improve their prestige, contributing to your overall park rating.

Increase Your Park Rating

As with all scenario platinum objectives, you’ll need to increase your park’s rating to four and a half. It’s wise to complete the scenery rating objective first, as you can sell some of the more expensive scenery if needed to meet guest satisfaction. Carefully monitor your guests' needs and address them to boost your park rating.

Since the park is large, consider selling surplus trees, rocks, or other objects far from your attractions to generate additional funds. If you’re strapped for cash, you can also sell coasters.

Additionally, raising ticket prices for attractions can help manage guest queues and improve your park’s rating by keeping guests satisfied. Because guests in queues who are thirsty or hungry will also lower your park rating.

There are plenty of unused trees and rocks on the unused side of the park. Selling these can generate significant income. To maximize the money you earn from selling them, you can set the game difficulty to Easy.
