Rock Climb was originally introduced in generation four and can be used by a Pokemon to scale rocky walls in the environment. Keep reading to find out where to get Rock Climb in BDSP.

We've added information about potential bugs and rewards from using Rock Climb. If you're confused about where to get Rock Climb, BDSP doesn't necessarily spell things out, but this guide will help.
You won't be able to use the move outside of battle until you obtain the seventh gym badge by defeating the Snowpoint City gym leader, Candice.
Where Can You Get Rock Climb In Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl?
Before you can reach Rock Climb you'll need to have defeated the sixth gym leader, Byron in Canalave City, so you can use the move Strength outside of battle.
Make your way through Mt. Coronet on route 216, smashing various rocks along the way.
Once you've reached the other side of Mt. Coronet you'll emerge back onto a very snowy route 216.
The move Defog can also be handy for traversal here but isn't absolutely crucial to have.
Make your way left past a series of trainers and grass (using a Super Repel here is encouraged if you're in a hurry) and you'll eventually make a turn through a large patch of grass onto route 217.
Head up through the route and stick to the left until you reach a Cabin.
When you enter the house you'll meet a hiker who will tell you that he's just dropped a TM containing Rock Climb.

If you teach one of your Pokemon Rock Climb before completing the Snowpoint City Gym section, a bug can occur that makes this section impossible to progress.
With the Rock Climb TM now in your arsenal, you'll have the ability to climb all those pesky rocky cliffs to collect rewards.
