How To Get The May 2025 Power Up Ticket
The May Power Up Ticket will need to be purchased to be unlocked, costing $4.99 USD at the Pokemon Go in-game shop. Once this ticket is purchased, you will be given access to both in-game bonuses and Timed Research that can be completed throughout the month of May.
The May Power Up Ticket can be purchased starting on Thursday, May 1, 2025, and will be available to purchase until Sunday, May 11, 2025, at 8pm local time. There will be several bonuses for those who purchase the May Power Up Ticket, impacting several aspects of the game. These bonuses will be active for ticket holders from Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 10am local time, to Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10am local time.
The May 2025 Power Up Ticket bonuses include:
- Triple the XP for catching your first Pokemon each day.
- Triple the XP for spinning your first PokeStop each day.
- Open a maximum of 50 Gifts each day.
- Obtain up to 150 Gifts each day from spinning PokeStops.
- The maximum Gift holding limit increased to 40.
- Obtain one extra Candy XL when completing Raid battles or Max Battles (Trainers that have a Trainer Level 31 or greater).
May Power Up Ticket Timed Research
Those who purchase the May Power Up Ticket will also have access to Timed Research for the month of May. This Timed Research will be available for ticket holders starting on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 10am local time, and will have to be completed by Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 10am local time.
