Last year, Pokemon launched a collection of plushes that are really Ditto disguised as various other Pokemon. Ditto has become a bigger deal than it ever was before, so it only makes sense that its collection of transformed Pokemon plushes is getting even bigger.

Six More Transformed Ditto Plushes Have Been Revealed

That's exactly what will happen when the six new plushes revealed by The Pokemom Company are released. Some much newer Pokemon will join the Ditto collection when the range officially expands on July 9, 2026, as even though there are already more than 40 plushes in the transformed Ditto collection, most of them have the transforming Pokemon disguising itself as creations from the earlier generations.

There has been a particular focus on Gen 1 until now. Not like Pokemon merch to be like that, I know.

In fact, there's nothing in this new crew of six that was introduced before Gen 4. Spiritomb is the oldest Pokemon in this new batch, then Zorua and its Hisuian form after that. The other three are all Pokemon introduced during the two most recent generations, the upcoming Gen 10 aside. No, unfortunately, there is still no Pombon plush, disguised as a Ditto or otherwise, but I promise I'll let you know as soon as the first one is revealed. You know, once I've secured mine, of course.

Sobble And Sprigatito Join Pokemon's Ditto Plush Collection

Sobble is repping the Gen 8 starters, while Sprigatito, a Pokemon that is clearly viewed as the next generation's Pikachu, is here to fly Paldea's colors alongside Ogerpon. Ogerpon is such a new addition that I thought this might've been its first-ever plush. Turns out I was wrong. It has sailed past so many older Pokemon and already has six plushes to its name. Its transformed Ditto toy will soon make it seven.

There is some bad news - as usual, these plushes will be exclusively available in Japan when they're released next week. That's almost always the case for Pokemon plushes, but in this case there's a pretty thick silver lining. While you can never know for sure until it happens, these six new Ditto forms will almost certainly be rolled out worldwide in the near future.

There are a couple of reasons for that. One, Ditto is a big deal the world over right now, so these plushes are going to sell well everywhere. The main reason you can expect these to eventually show up in the US and elsewhere, however, is the fact that all of the other transformed Ditto plushes in the collection are available outside of Japan. If you can't wait until then, you can either order them through Meccha Japan whenever they become available, or take a trip to Japan and pop a few of them into the clear plastic plushie prison built into the new Pokemon luggage you can also pick up while you're there.
