The latest entry in the Pokemon series has taken the world by storm. If you want to complete your Pokedex, you're going to visit the Paldea region in its entirety. As you do this, Pokemon aren't the only thing you'll be collecting along the way. You'll definitely end up with a lot of phone cases if you enjoy collecting them.

In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, Rotom has now turned into a phone that you can take with you everywhere, and he'll help you out on your journey in various ways. You can also decorate your Rotom phone however you'd like by purchasing phone cases for it.

Available Rotom Phone Cases

Players can acquire over 50 phone cases, which can be purchased at different locations in the game. Head down to Mesagoza, Levincia, or Cascarrafa to get some phone cases. The phone cases are all sold in the same store chain - Delibird Presents stores - but each town has a different set of cases; you can't get them all in the same place. Each location can be found by opening the map of each respective town and hovering over the icons.

If you want to get all the phone cases in the game, you'll need to save up money beforehand, as some of them can cost up to 6,000 Poke Dollars.

To purchase every single phone case at Delibird Presents stores, you will need a total of 121,000 Poke Dollars. That's a lot of money, so be sure to fight as many trainers as possible and collect as many gold nuggets as you can.

Save Data Exclusive Phone Cases

On top of the phone cases you can purchase, there are also four special phone cases for players that have saved data from other Pokemon games on their Nintendo Switch - and they're completely free!

These Pokemon game-inspired phone cases can only be obtained from a certain character. Head to Mesagoza and talk to the mysterious woman in the middle of the stairs leading up to the school. She wears sunglasses, stands next to a lamp post, and has a yellow speech bubble over her when you walk by.

She claims that your phone can tell a lot about your past life. She will then ask you which regions you've been to, and the regions that correspond to Pokemon games that you've played on your Nintendo will appear as dialogue options.

How To Change Your Phone Case

To change your phone case, you must enter the same menu as you would to change your character's appearance. Press the left direction button on the D-pad to enter the Outfit menu. The last tab is the Rotom Phone tab, where you will find every phone case you own. Select the phone case you want to decorate your phone with and then confirm your choice.

Unfortunately, previewing the phone case you'd like to use doesn't work since it only changes how your character looks and doesn't zoom in on their phone.

Besides cutscenes in which you use your phone during the main story, you will rarely see your Rotom phone case, sadly. It's briefly shown when you open menus that are displayed on it as an app, So if you want to confirm how your Rotom phone case looks in-game, you should open your party or your Pokedex, for example.
