Every Single Pokemon From The Alola Region Will Be A Sitting Cutie Soon
Summary
- Pokemon has revealed its next batch of Sitting Cuties plushes.
- Sticking with the chronological approach, the next Sitting Cuties drop will include a plush for every Gen 7 Pokemon.
- There will be 116 plushes in total, including all Alolan forms.
There are a lot of Pokemon plushes. However, there's only one range that will eventually include every Pokemon. That's the Sitting Cuties collection, and Pokemon has revealed the Gen 7 expansion of what must comfortably be its biggest plush range.
Sitting Cuties, also known as Pokemon Fit plushes, are weighted plushes that are designed to fit, or sit, in the palm of your hand, hence the name. Pokemon has been turning its creations into Sitting Cuties one generation at a time, kicking things off with Kanto and working its way through the regions in chronological order.

Every Pokemon from Gen 7 will be available as a Sitting Cutie in Japan starting on May 10, 2025. While there's never a guarantee Japan-exclusive Pokemon products will be available elsewhere, the first six generations of Sitting Cuties have been released worldwide following a short period of Japanese exclusivity, so it would be very strange if that doesn't end up being the case for Gen 7.
The Pokemon Sitting Cuties Rollout Continues
And It's Headed To Alola
Pokemon's Sitting Cuties collection is incredibly thorough. Not only does it turn ever Pokemon from each Gen into a small, weighted plush, but also their alternative forms, if they have any. For example, when the Gen 6 Sitting Cuties were revealed, there were 18 Vivillon designs to show off.
via PokeJungle/PokemonThat means even though there are only 88 original Pokemon in Gen 7, its branch of the Sitting Cuties collection will have 116 plushes to collect according to Pokeshopper. A chunk of that can be attributed to Alolan forms of Pokemon that already have Sitting Cuties like Vulpix and Raichu. Pokemon has shared images of the entire collection which you can check out above courtesy of Pokeshopper if you want to try and spot your favorite Alolan Pokemon in Sitting Cutie form.
If Pokemon sticks with its current Sitting Cuties pricing then the Alolan plushes will cost $16.99 each. To save you doing the math yourself, and to break your hearts a little faster, that means it will cost just shy of $2,000 if you want to own all 116 of them. Probably best to choose a few favorites and stick to those, although hey, if you've got $2,000 to spare and you want to catch 'em all, don't let me stop you.
The one thing Pokemon hasn't done yet is roll out shiny variants of all its Sitting Cuties. It did tease that might happen in the future though by adding a Shiny Rayquaza to the collection last year. Rayquaza's shiny is very popular, so a good place to start. Sitting Cuties will eventually catch up with how many Pokemon have been created, so if The Pokemon Company wants to keep making them after that point without waiting for new games to release, it might have to go back to the beginning and start making shiny versions.
