You can find this card in a variety of conditions, from moderately played (MP) copies selling for about $28, to lightly played (LP) jumps to the $50 mark with consistent sales around that price. Near-mint (NM) cards carry a premium, with copies jumping into the $60 range to separate themselves from the pack.

9 Latias EX (Full Art) – $68.10

The First Twin

This gorgeous portrayal of Latias puts the Pokemon's red and white color palette on display with a similarly stunning pink background. Unsurprisingly, Latias EX finds a place among the most expensive Latias cards ever, primarily due to its unique depiction of the Eon Pokemon.

Latias is difficult to find in NM condition, so copies can command as much as $99.99 at the top end of the spectrum. If you don't mind settling for LP condition, you can find massive discounts, with some sales dropping to the $43 mark. Heavily played (HP) cards drop into the $25 range if you'd just like to own the card in an acceptable condition.

8 Ghetsis: Team Plasma (Full Art) – $70.20

One Bad Man

Ghetsis might be one of the most sinister villains ever introduced in Pokemon, as his manipulation of N paints him as a malicious criminal mastermind. Evil intentions aside, you won't find a more stunning depiction of this character than in Plasma Freeze.

It's not easy to break into the most expensive Deoxys cards, but this fantastic full-art returns after already earning one of the top spots among its direct peers. Deoxys also makes a strong showing as one of the best cards in Plasma Freeze from both visual and value points of view.

If you're on a budget but want to get your hands on this card, some HP copies drop below $25, while you can find MP cards at $35 or $38. Even LP copies are reasonably priced at around $50, but NM copies catapult to the $70 to $80 range.

6 Professor Juniper (Full Art) – $86.30

Feeling Scientific

Professor Juniper switches things up, as we move away from Pokemon for a moment to celebrate a professor with this warm depiction of Professor Juniper, as she appears to be in the middle of some invigorating work. The orange and red background are good complements to her hair color, creating a noticeable synergy.

In damaged condition, you can pick this car up for as little as $26, though HP copies are a bit more expensive, reaching $42 in some cases. Nicer cards are much more expensive, with LP copies priced starting at $70, with NM cards jumping to the $80 mark.

5 Empoleon (Secret Rare) – $97.52

Showing Off Its Coat

Empoleon steps up to the plate with a subtle but stunning shiny color swap in this scintillating Secret Rare. Empoleon's fierce design gives this card a little extra character, enhancing the shiny color palette with an impressive battle pose.

While many of the best cards from Plasma Freeze are fairly easy to come by, this Empoleon is more challenging to find in NM condition, with far fewer sales and listings available on TCGplayer.

Despite the lack of NM cards, there are two sales around the $125 mark, though you can find LP copies for a similar price, with the lowest sale dropping to $90; however, another hit $115. MP cards offer a much bigger discount, starting around $50.

4 Latios (Full Art) – $99.00

This full art captures an epic moment of Latios flying through the sky, with an exceptional amount of nuance and detail in the scene, from the whipping wind to Latios' wings. It's no surprise this is one of the most valuable Latios cards ever, given how vivid the scene is.

Expect to pay around the market price for NM copies, as there isn't much wiggle room if you want the very best. However, LP cards offer a massive discount, with some sales as low as $25, indicating that this card's market price primarily comes from copies in good condition, rather than the full range of sales.

3 Garbodor (Secret Rare) – $104.00

Even Trash Can Shine

Speaking of surprises, Plasma Freeze kept yet another up its sleeve, as you probably didn't have "shiny Garbodor is one of the top three most valuable Plasma Freeze cards" on your bingo card. Jokes aside, there's no denying that this portrayal of Garbodor might be one of the best it's ever received.

Even in HP condition, this card can command over $40, with LP variations doubling this price to the tune of $82.50. NM cards command the market price, though they're very difficult to find. Future NM sales may push this card's value even higher if they continue their upward trend.

2 Garchomp (Secret Rare) – $160.00

A Covert Color Change

Garchomp is one of the most powerful Pokemon ever, though its reputation primarily comes from the Pokemon games, rather than the Pokemon TCG. However, this Secret Rare elevates Garchomp's reputation further, though its shiny color palette is annoyingly similar to its normal one.

Garchomp is easily the most difficult card to find in NM condition from Plasma Freeze, with no recent NM sales, though there are multiple LP sales at the $125 mark. Given there was an LP sale that jumped to $150, this card will likely reach incredible heights in NM condition.

1 Ultra Ball (Secret Rare) – $339.86

Watch Out, Master Ball

While Garchomp was impressive, nothing comes close to the Ultra Ball Secret Rare – the best card in Plasma Freeze. Unless you're familiar with the set, it's understandable if you weren't expecting this, but there's no doubt that the Ultra Ball's design is the perfect match for the Gold Secret Rare background.

This card is on a completely different level, with even HP copies exceeding $275, with the highest sale sales of an LP registering over $400. This card is easily one of the most valuable in the Black & White era.
