Not too long ago, the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket confirmed that new packs are on the way. These packs are set to build on the game's collection, which already has around 300 cards.

Naturally, however, collectors and those with FOMO began to worry that they may need to hurry through their Genetic Apex collection because they fear the packs may be removed. Thankfully, the developers have moved to quell these concerns.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Genetic Apex Is Going Nowhere

Clearly hearing the worried cries of fans, the Japanese Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Twitter account addressed the fears of Genetic Apex being removed from stores.

It tweeted the following statement:

Are you all enjoying opening packs every day? Even after the next expansion pack is released, you can still open "Strongest Genes," so enjoy opening it at your own pace!

With a total of 286 cards in this expansion alone and some very tough pull rates, it's likely it will take the majority of players a very long time to complete Genetic Apex—even after limited trading is introduced in the new year, so this news is welcome.

It seems the game is likely to follow the real-world Pokemon TCG's cadence by keeping expansions available for a while, even when new ones are released.

Genetic Apex's pull rates didn't deter one player, though. After spending almost $1,500, they collected every card in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's inaugural set by opening a ton of packs and completing Wonder Picks. It's little surprise that the game is making around $6.5 million a day.

The announcement that Genetic Apex is sticking around for a while will also assuage another of the game's concerns, with the recent confirmation that Pokemon TCG Pocket's Pack Points expire once a set has been removed from the store.
