Pokemon TCG Pocket’s Ditto Card Is Like A Game Of Where’s Waldo But With Ditto
Summary
- TCG Pocket cards tell stories from games/anime like Snorlax blocking the route in Pokemon Red and Blue.
- The Eevee card depicts the decision to evolve with elemental stones, and the Ditto card hides 6 Dittos.
- Ditto transforms into scenery objects, a fun touch by designers in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
There's something special about many of Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Genetic Apex card designs. Alongside some stunning artwork, the cards often depict scenes from the series' games or anime.
The Snorlax illustration rare, for example, links to the Bellsprout, Oddish, and Venonat cards. It depicts the scene from Pokemon Red and Blue in which Snorlax blocks off Route 11 until players have received the Poke Flute.

Posts By Sam WoodsAnother great example of visual storytelling is the Eevee illustration rare, with the Pokemon looking at a counter that has a Water Stone, Fire Stone, and Thunder Stone on it. The Pokemon is presumably deciding whether to evolve into Vaporeon, Flareon, or Jolteon.
While those two cards have pretty blatant storytelling, one that's a little more subtle is the Ditto illustration rare, which is like a micro version of Where's Waldo.
Can You Spot The Six Hidden Dittos In Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket
If you have any familiarity with the Pokemon franchise, you'll know Ditto is a sneaky bugger with the ability to transform into anything it sees.
When in the form of another object or Pokemon, Ditto keeps its tiny dot eyes and single-line mouth, making its new form completely adorable. It's so adorable that it's received its own line of plushies and has been featured in tons of other Pokemon merch.
All too aware of its potential, the Pokemon TCG Pocket designers have utilized this in the game's Ditto card, hiding six more of the Pokemon behind the two that are front and center.
Spoilers for Where's Waldo: Ditto edition ahead.
As shared on Reddit by user sleepyboylol, the most obvious Ditto transformation is on a Caterpie that's up in the tree, notable for its derpy little face, but five more are hidden in the environment.

The hardest to find of them all, however, is located in the trees next to derpy Caterpie, with the Ditto somehow transforming into a chunk of foliage.
It's another great touch by the game's designers, and with the next set of cards due to be released later this month, it's exciting to see what's next.
