After finding yourself as the newest resident of Kaso-Machi in Promise Mascot Agency, you'll have a lot to get to grips with in running your new agency, making new allies, and having the whole area to explore.

PostsPinky might be your go-to in-game, but we've also got a few helpful tips to help you hit the ground running in Promise Mascot Agency that will hopefully ensure your playthrough is a little more efficient than ours. Here's what you need to know.
Upgrade Your Truck To Get The Pinky Launcher ASAP
You'll soon learn that you'll be trucking all over Kaso-Machi, not only to speak to NPCs and progress the storyline, but because there are so many collectibles hidden everywhere. That's why upgrading your truck should be your first priority, and even if you don't want to get all of them, we recommend getting the Pinky Launcher first.
The Pinky Launcher allows you to send Pinky flying to collect items from afar, or destroy objects, including barriers that can open previously hidden areas.
Unlock Fast Travel Early
As soon as you're able to, and this involves having the Pinky Launcher we mention above, you should unlock fast travel to help get around more quickly. As you still need to manually find each phone box to unlock it as a fast travel point, you'll want to start doing this as soon as possible to reduce the time you have to manually drive all over Kaso-Machi.
Always Keep A Buffer Of Money Available
Making money is the name of the game in Promise Mascot Agency, but it's important that you always keep some reserves on hand as it's all too easy to get sidetracked exploring and collecting and not realise you're not making the most of your mascots until you're suddenly in debt.
Try to avoid big expenditures that leave you with next to nothing, as not only do you have bills to pay regularly, you also need to send money back to Shimazu often to ensure she doesn't get killed. If this happens, it's game over. Only buy things when you can comfortably afford them with enough left over.
Pinky will give you a warning when Shimazu gets low, asking if you've sent money to her recently. You need to be prepared to send a quick cash injection if you're lower than expected.
Build Your Mascot Team Quickly
You need mascots to maximise how many jobs you can undertake at a time, so you should focus on getting every mascot you can as early as you can. As soon as you see a mascot symbol appear on the map, head over and add them to your team. New mascot opportunities will appear as you progress through the storyline.
Having a wide roster is important as you can find yourself hit by a string of mascots taking vacation or having low energy at the same time, preventing you from earning as much.
Get The Lady Love Dies Card Early
The Lady Love Dies Hero Card is one of the most overpowered cards you can get, with tech and movement stats over 30, and you can get it as soon as you have the Pinky Launcher. It's located at the end of the dead end path that's further up the mountain just northeast of the Old War Ruins.
Invest In More Mascot Help Items If You Don't Have Great Hero Cards
As you progress through the game, jobs take longer, pay more, and cause bigger problems. You'll be having to use your Hero Cards to tackle increasingly higher targets, and if you don't have strong cards to do this well, it can be hard to successfully help your mascots.
If you're not confident in your cards, invest in Mascot Help items to reduce the chance of your mascots getting into trouble.
When you're short on cash, buying up a lot of Mascot Help items might seem like a waste but there are cheap ones out there and you can get others by fishing or doing Life Satisfaction chats with your mascots.
Sometimes You Have To Be Mean To The Mascots
While you might want to be the perfect boss and treat your mascots with nothing but love, you're still a business. If you find yourself running out of funds, and Shimazu quickly running out of time before she's killed, you'll need cash, and fast.
If it comes down to it, don't be afraid to adjust your mascot's pay so they get less of a cut from each job. It'll reduce their happiness to zero each time you do this, but they'll soon cheer back up.
You can also choose to send mascots on jobs even if they don't have enough stamina, which can increase the chances of there being a problem, but at least then you're not sitting and waiting while nothing is being earned.
The Crane Game Is Your Best Source Of Income
While Promise Mascot Agency is the name of the game, quite literally, as you progress you'll find your mascots taking more of a cut of each job and you might even begin to struggle to make a decent income. When you progress enough to unlock the Crane Game, while it might just seem like a fun little mini game, don't sleep on it.
The Crane Game can bring in millions per night, so it's well worth ensuring you are playing this game and keeping all of your stores stocked. The more areas you rebuild in game, the more stores you'll have to sell mascot merchandise too, increasing your profits.
Once you get into a good groove with the Crane Game, it should solve all your money woes as long as you keep your stores stocked.
