Unlike magic, you can't start using potions in the game from the start unless you find some randomly while exploring. If you want to start brewing your own, you'll have to venture into the third biome in the game called Whispering Swamp and get some Clay.

Runescape: Dragonwilds is currently in Early Access, and the content of this article is subject to change.

How To Make Potions

Before you can start crafting potions in Runescape: Dragonwilds, you'll first need to get yourself a Brewing Cauldron. This item requires the following materials:

  • 16 Ash Logs
  • Six Coarse Thread
  • 10 Rune Essence
  • Six Clay

You can get Clay in the Whispering Swamps area by finding various Clay nodes that have multiple ore on them. If a Clay node gets depleted, it'll slowly refill itself with time. You can also find a bunch of Clay nodes within the Whispering Swamps' Vault. When you have the required items, you can place the Brewing Cauldron inside your base.

The Brewing Cauldron needs a roof over its head, which means that you can't place it outside.

Once the Brewing Cauldron is ready, you can place up to three items inside to make the potion you desire.

All Potion Recipes

Now that you know how to make potions, it's also important to learn all their recipes so that you can farm the required material. Clay Vessel is a common item for potions since you need to fill the liquid in something, and here are all the other materials for each recipe:
