In Remnant 2, Traits are passive abilities that grant your character unique advantages and are essential for character development as you advance through the game. At the start, you'll have a basic set of four Traits, but you can unlock more and more as you progress.

These Traits can be unlocked through various methods, such as defeating formidable bosses, completing specific events, helping certain NPCs, and unlocking Archetypes. With the release of each DLC, a range of new Traits has been added for you to discover, and many of them remain well hidden, requiring you to figure out how to unlock each one.

How To Unlock The Perception Trait

In order to obtain the Perception Trait, you must have a dungeon called the Stagnant Manufactory in your world.

If this dungeon isn’t available in your current run, you'll need to reroll the Dark Horizon until you find it.

Once you've confirmed the dungeon's presence and reached its location, you will need to complete it by finding six Gas Canisters scattered throughout.

Progress through the Stagnant Manufactory until you arrive at the first checkpoint, which will serve as your starting point.

Gas Canister Location #1

From the checkpoint, take the path to the left and use the elevator to descend. Move forward, drop all the way down, and then head left.

Drop down once more, and you’ll spot a canister filled with purple gas; that’s our first one. Be sure to shoot and destroy it.

Gas Canister Location #2

After destroying the first canister, continue ahead and take the path to the right.

Follow the straightforward path until you eventually reach the second canister. Don’t forget to destroy it.

Gas Canister Location #3

From the previous canister, progress forward and climb the structure on the right side. Keep moving and then drop down to reach the door on the left side.

Enter the door and use the elevator to ascend. In the next room, to the left side, you’ll spot the third canister, so be sure to shoot it.

Gas Canister Location #4

Follow the path behind the previous canister and climb up the structure at the dead end, then use the ladder to ascend. Continue progressing to the right until you reach an area where the gas begins affecting your character.

Drop all the way down from there and go through the door in front of you. You’ll find another elevator; use it to reach the top. In the next room, you’ll spot the fourth canister waiting to be destroyed.

Right after you destroy the fourth canister, you'll find the fifth one just to the left side.

Gas Canister Location #6

The final canister is located along the path behind. Just keep following it, and you'll eventually reach it.

Final Step

Once all six canisters are destroyed, proceed to the end of the dungeon and make your way to the control room.
