Serious Slap is a secret attack exclusively for The Strongest Hero. Think of it as an upgraded basic punch, but with way more force and an animation. Serious Slap is not listed directly in the abilities, so if you did not know about it, you would miss it easily.

Instead of using Serious Punch or other abilities while you are in Serious Mode, you can trigger Serious Slap as a hidden alternative. It is an inside joke for One Punch Man fans, but it is also super satisfying to land.

How To Perform Serious Slap

To pull off Serious Slap, you will need to follow a specific input sequence while using The Strongest Hero.

1. Fill your Awakening bar.
2. Activate Serious Mode.
3. Get close enough to your opponent.
4. Start throwing basic attacks (M1s) and hold the jump button from the second or third M1. On the fourth M1, you will perform an uppercut that triggers Serious Slap.

If done correctly, this uppercut will automatically launch your opponent and activate Serious Slap, dealing massive damage and sending them flying.

It is a hidden mechanic: just spamming M1 will not work, you need to hold jump during the combo for it to activate.

Tips For Using Serious Slap

• Time it after a stun or ragdoll. Since it is close-range, the safest way to land it is right after knocking your opponent down or catching them mid-recovery.
• It does not consume Serious Mode. Using Serious Slap (or Serious Sneeze and Serious Trashcan) will not end your Serious Mode, but you can only perform one of these hidden moves per Awakening.
• Make sure it counts. Even though Serious Mode stays active, once you use any of these secret moves, you cannot use them again until your next Awakening.
• Not blockable. Most players will not expect it, making it perfect for clutch moments.
