  • The Stellar Blade x Nier: Automata crossover goes live next Wednesday on November 20.

The Stellar Blade x Nier: Automata crossover is finally happening next week on November 20.

Nier: Automata's official Twitter account joked that it would "say yes to anything for money" after the news broke in September.

As revealed in the official PlayStation blog post, this crossover brings 2B to the world of Stellar Blade along with 11 special items that you can purchase from Emil's shop. We don't know what these items are yet, but they're described as intertwining "the best of both games".

This Update Also Finally Adds Photo Mode

Accompanying 2B and Emil is a photo mode, perfect for showing off the new crossover cosmetics. From the screenshots we have, it looks to be pretty in-depth, with the option to change character poses, expressions, and lighting, with filters that can be applied specifically to each NPC.

To unlock photo mode, you'll need to complete the request Photography Club, in which you're sent a photo and tasked with taking a new photo at the same spot. Once completed, you'll unlock the Camera Special Reward.

Photos you take are then stored in the Data Bank, and there are a few collectibles to hunt down such as the "Cats in the Cold City" graffiti. You can find out more in the blog post itself.
