Last month, Street Fighter 6 finally finished off its roster of Year 3 characters with the release of Ingrid, and as far as new characters go, she was pretty well received. She caused a sizable bump in the player base, and having given her a try myself, she's a very fun character full of silly gimmicks and secrets to try out.

However, now that Ingrid is here, we're all now wondering what's next. We've had a few clues from reliable insiders, but ahead of Summer Game Fest, Capcom hadn't yet given us an official lineup of characters that will arrive as part of Year 4. Thankfully, the developer has rectified that problem, and also confirmed one of the more outlandish character additions that was hinted at before the show.

Yes, Tifa Is Actually Coming To Street Fighter 6

We've seen in the past that Capcom has started embracing crossover characters, with both Terry and Mai being added in Year 2, but Tifa's upcoming addition to the game's roster is one of the wildest crossover characters the series has ever seen. She was shown off in the character trailer for Year 4 at Summer Game Fest, revealing that she'll be coming to the game.

Of course, three other characters will be coming to the game alongside Tifa, those being actual Street Fighter characters. This time around, we'll be getting Yasmine and Argul, who are all both new characters to the Street Fighter universe. We also saw the reveal of Bosch, who is a villain in the game's Story Mode.

While Tifa is punching her way into Street Fighter 6, which was one of the wackier reveals from Summer Game Fest this year, it wasn't the only one.
