Effects, Explained
Effects are a special modifier that a product can have, either naturally or given to it by mixing it with different ingredients, such as Banana or Iodine, inside a Mixing Station.
You can only mix one type of product and ingredient in a Mixing Station at a time, as a Mixing Station only has two slots available.
These Effects temporarily cause different cosmetic changes and active abilities after a product is smoked, and you can even stack multiple Effects.
Up to ten Effects can be added to a single product, and this is done by chaining mixes together. For example, you can take a base product like OG Kush, mix it with Banana to create a strain with the Gingeritis Effect, then mix it again with another ingredient to make a strain with Calming, Gingeritis, and a third Effect, based on what you pick.
If you want to quickly get rid of the effects of a mix on yourself, you can drink an Energy Drink to instantly remove all drug effects.
There are a total of 34 different Effects your product can end up with, and they're created using one or more of 16 possible ingredients, all of which can be purchased from either the Western or Southern Gas Marts:

Besides the ingredients, all the four weed types, like Granddaddy Purple, come with a base Effect on them naturally, but the other potential products, Meth and Cocaine, start plain and lack a base Effect, so you'll need to combine them with at least one ingredient to give them one.
You can automate the mixing process for a product by hiring several Chemists and Handlers, who can be assigned to use the Mixing Station, transport ingredients, and move products between Mixing Stations.
Besides just providing useful abilities or fun cosmetic changes, you can also use Effects to improve your chances of getting a customer, as every NPC has several Effects they prefer on a drug, and the more they match up with their preferences, the higher the chance they'll become a contact.
How To Get Every Mix Effect In Schedule 1
Around half of the possible 34 Effects can be obtained from one ingredient, but many others, like Electrifying or Laxative, can only be obtained by mixing several ingredients, and every effect has multiple ways to obtain it.
Certain more advanced Effects, such as Smelly or Glowing, are also more likely to appear through the use of certain combinations, regardless of the base product used.
