Teamfight Tactics: Dawn Of Heroes Set 12 Revival Ladder Guide
Teamfight Tactics Set 12 is fun and unique, but updates in the set have opened a way for players to play an old set for its own unique rewards. While it isn't the exact same as its July 2021 counterpart, the Dawn of Heroes set is back and playable in Set 12, allowing for a different kind of ranked climb.

PostsThe goal of playing against seven opponents for a top-four finish remains the same, but that isn't the sole goal in this set revival. Now, players gain strategy points (SP) that they can use in the client to unlock rewards alongside more avenues to get point-gathering boosts, which makes the goal a lot more adaptive than just picking the best trait and getting a top-four finish.
This event is available in the client from the Teamfight Tactics Play screen, listed above the regular TFT options of Normal and Ranked play.
Dawn Of Heroes Set 12 Revival Ladder Progression, Explained
This event revolves around a form of competitive play known as the Revival Ladder. When a player begins, their first game will start them at the lowest rank of Apprentice and they can progressively rank up by playing games and earning SP, starting only by their placement in matches.
Each rank has five levels within; for example, reaching the end of Apprentice's fifth rank will let you reach Guide's first rank
Then, each new rank a player reaches unlocks an added selection of skills that offers more ways to gain SP. It starts with a simple choice from one of two options, but it increases to a choice of one per three options from the second rank to the third-to-last rank.
The final two ranks of the ladder, Oracle and Visionary, offer rare cosmetics for the player's profile but don't offer any extra skills.
As for rewards, they change slightly based on rank, with the first rank of Apprentice offering Star Shards, then swapping between Realm Crystals and Treasure Tokens for five ranks. These are all free, without the need to purchase via the Battle Pass or the Store, but they do need a lot of game time to unlock.

Each rank stacks its skill on top of the previous one(s), meaning that reaching high ranks like Scholar or Sage allows for a wide selection of skills to gather plenty of SP.
All games reward SP no matter what the finish is up until the end of the Scholar rank. From Sage to Visionary, match result SP is locked to top four finishes, but that does not include all your skill-related SP points from the list above.
