Pokemon has been trying to create ways for its fans to feel what it would be like to be a real-life Pokemon trainer since day one, that's what the games are all about. There's something the games can't do though, and let's replicate what it would feel like to hold a Poke Ball. That's where The Wand Company comes in, and today it has added yet another Poke Ball replica to its collection at the Pokemon Center.
The Wand Company has been creating officially licensed diecast replicas of Poke Balls for years, and today it has added the Beast Ball to its collection. Introduced via Pokemon Sun & Moon, the Beast Ball is a hardier, more robust style of Poke Ball specifically designed to help trainers catch Ultra Beasts more easily. It also includes one of the more unique Poke Ball designs, hence its arrival at the Pokemon Center likely generating excitement among fans who collect them.

Posts By Josh CoulsonThe Beast Ball is dark blue with a silver grid-like pattern all over and four yellow fins that effectively give the Poke Ball corners. As well as looking and feeling like what a Beast Ball might look and feel like in the games, like the rest of The Wand Company's creations, this new Poke Ball design is interactive. The button on the front will begin to glow brighter as you move your hand closer, and then the whole ball will glow blue when you hold it.
The ball even plays through a light sequence when you press the button on the front. The only thing you can't do is actually throw it like you would an in-game Beast Ball.
The Wand Company's Beast Ball Replicas Are Now At The Pokemon Center
via Pokemon CenterThe Beast Ball has a diameter of three inches which, its description on the Pokemon Center claims, is the same size as it is in the world of Pokemon. It can be displayed inside the case it comes with, which also lights up, or on the ring that is also included if you want its admirers to be able to see the whole thing without them necessarily having to touch it. I wouldn't blame you for enforcing a look but don't touch policy either as at $119.99, the Beast Ball is the most expensive replica in The Wand Company's Poke Ball collection so far, tied for first place with the sold out Master Ball.
