Best Endgame Magicite Build For Hammers In The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales
The hammer's magicite pool demands more planning than most weapons in The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Many of its best options are expensive, niche, or tightly complementary; Body & Soul needs Charge Time Down to offset its penalty, and Blowback only earns its slot alongside Enhanced Knock Back.
That interconnectedness makes your choice of playstyle unusually consequential: commit to charge attacks for high-impact boss damage, lean into regular attacks for critical-hit and knockback pressure against enemy groups, or blend the two for all-round applicability. Below, we'll break down each approach and share the charge-attack build that made light work of the final boss.

A lot of the hammer's magicite options are quite niche or expensive, making it difficult to go into a build or playstyle without a lot of thought. Many of them are complementary - for example, you'll only want to take Body & Soul if you can also offset the charge time increase using Charge Time Down. Similarly, Blowback is made far easier to justify if you also take Enhanced Knock Back.
It is for this reason that the high cost of the best magicite makes it quite difficult to pick a playstyle you'd want to stick with. There are three general directions that can really work with the hammer:
- All-in on charge attacks, focusing on risky but high-impact damage. This is a fantastic way to use the hammer as a boss-killing weapon.
- All-in on regular attacks, looking at the critical hit and knockback magicite. This is best served against tricky packs of enemies.
- A mix of the two, purpose-built to be applicable to hordes and bosses, removing much of the thought during the fights themselves.
A standout magicite is Lightning Mallet. It's expensive, but it does some brilliant damage in most situations!
Best Endgame Magicite Build
Our recommendation is to go for the 'charge attack' focus - the hammer is a fantastic damage dealer, with a fully-charged attack with the best hammer dealing an incredible amount of damage.
With all five-star magicite and a fully-upgraded magicite box, this is the build we went with that trivialised much of the final boss and some of the harder optional challenges.
