Having the right combination of traits means that your subjects can be incredibly talented and useful, while the wrong combination can have lethal results for the monarch. We'll break down what traits are available and what they all do, along with how you can get better traits for your subjects in the castle.

All Traits For Subjects And Rulers

Traits are the different factors that influence a subject or ruler, making up their personality and foreshadowing any potential problems they might have with their fellow castle dwellers.

Many traits are beneficial to the kingdom, granting boons that increase happiness and productivity. Others make subjects more prone to acts of cruelty and violence, making them a threat to the castle.

How To Get Better Traits

Unfortunately, there's no way to change a subject or ruler's traits. However, you can pass on desirable traits to children of subjects and rulers that already have said traits.

You can banish anyone over the age of 16 in the kingdom if their traits aren't useful to you.

It takes a bit of trial and error, and the traits aren't guaranteed to pass on, but it's worth the time investment to create capable subjects for the kingdom!
