Posts By Drew FergusonHealing your subjects can be done with ease, and we'll walk you through it. Obtaining the right materials will make combat easier, and you'll be able to explore the world much more when your subjects are in good health. Here's how to keep your soldiers and adventurers in good condition!
How To Restore Health
When out exploring, you'll end up losing health. You can restore it in multiple ways, whether you need an immediate solution or are willing to wait a few minutes to recover.
Using Health Potions
When in combat, you can use health potions to recover 50 percent of a subject's HP. You can use up to three in combat at a time, so make sure to use them sparingly if you're up against a formidable foe.
Some quest objectives prohibit the use of items, like potions, so make sure that you keep that in mind if you want to complete every optional objective.
You can also use potions outside of combat by interacting with the subject's profile card. Tap the potion icon to use one while in the castle or any menu.
Assigning To The Buffet
When your valiant soldiers come home from exploring, they're likely to be missing a chunk of their health. Rather than use precious potions on them, you can instead assign them to the buffet table for a few minutes.
At the buffet table, assigned subjects will recover HP faster. Subjects will gorge themselves on delicious foods, nap, and lounge around. This relaxing time will give them the boost they need to recover and head back out on quests.
Increasing Food Production
When you run out of food, your subjects will start to lose HP little by little. To prevent this from happening, you'll need to increase your food production so that it doesn't dip below the acceptable threshold.
While they'll heal passively, it will take a long time to do so. Rotate subjects between the buffet to speed things up, but you can leave them as they are and let the healing occur slowly.
Use Equipment That Heals
Some weapons and armor can have abilities that restore HP upon dealing damage to monsters and bandits. While the percentage is small, it's a good way to offset damage done in combat.
These weapons are generally better against small enemies, as giant dragons and ogres hit harder. However, these tools can buy you a few precious moments to use a potion or other methods so you don't waste a revival scroll.
How To Get More Potions
You can buy potions from the shop and earn them as rewards for exploring. Potions can also be given to you by subjects who are thankful, so make sure to check your rulings regularly and pair friends together at different work stations.
Collecting potions will take time, so make sure to save them for special situations or time-sensitive quests. The gem cost of potions is high, so it's better to try and earn them than to purchase them.
