The thing that those of us who've played the game were braced for has finally happened in HBO's The Last of Us. Season two of the show just aired its second episode and featured the infamous golf club scene. Like in the games, the second season is set a few years after the events of the first. However, some people, as always, had some issues.

The Last of Us is mainly discussed by gaming fans analysing similarities, and that's no way to watch television.
Posts 4 By Stacey HenleyOne of those issues was the casting of Bella Ramsey as Ellie. They felt that they didn't look the part – not that Joel looked like a handsome Chilean man. And, if that wasn't enough, they later said they didn't age-up like Ellie in the games. As you'd expect, Ramsey is pretty sick of this, and let her thoughts known in a recent interview.
Bella Ramsey Hates Questions About Ellie's Age In Season 2
In a conversation with Heart radio (via Independent), Ramsey was asked about how they prepared to portray an older version of Ellie, a question they were probably asked by a lot of interviewers. It seems Ramsey was a bit tired of this question, as they addressed it in a rather blunt manner.
"I’ve been on a three week press tour, and this is the most common question I get asked: ‘So, Bella, Ellie was 14 in season one [of The Last of Us], she’s now 19 in season two, there’s a five year age gap, how did you prepare to play an older Ellie in season two?’”
“I’ve grown up! Ellie’s grown up," they said. "There's nothing to tell! I’ve got nothing to say to you!” Ramsey said. “I’m going to get asked that question, probably, every day for the next few weeks, so no offense to everyone asking that question, but that’s the question I am a little bit sick of.”

Posts By Stacey HenleyUnderstandably, Ramsey must be tired of hearing the same question from every interviewer, and that's after the pointless uproar about the age difference.
