Where To Find The Flying Tile In The Gerudo Desert

At the Oasis in the Gerudo Desert, a woman standing near the Smoothie Shop mumbles something about flying tiles. She's heard about them, but hasn't seen one for herself. If you can bring one to her, it would be most helpful.

Thankfully, there are plenty of places in the Gerudo Desert to find the Flying Tile echo. With so many ruins in the sands, it can feel like an impossible task, but here are the two best locations to find the echo:

  • The Gerudo Sanctum. Once you're inside the temple, there's a chamber to the west where many flying tiles will fly at you. If you can get to them before they rise off the floor, you can learn the echo.
  • The Northern Ruins. Inside a cave to the north, there are several flying tiles that will attack the moment you enter. If you can catch one of these, you can learn the echo.

If all the tiles shatter and you're not able to learn the echo, simply leave the room and reenter to respawn the tiles and try again.

Once you've learned the echo for the Flying Tile, bring the echo to the Gerudo woman at the Oasis. Summon a Flying Tile in front of her to conclude the quest and earn 50 rupees for your trouble!

You can hop onto the Flying Tile and ride it across the desert to avoid monsters, quicksand, and more until it shatters.
