Not everyone in the kingdom is as brave or powerful as Zelda. Some, like the warrior Raslett, are terrified of beetles and need your help to eradicate them from caves in the Gerudo Desert.

Where To Find The Beetle Cave In The Gerudo Desert

After restoring the Hyrule Castle rift, you can return to Gerudo Town and speak with the off-duty guard, Raslett. She asks to speak with you inside her house as it's a sensitive matter.

Inside, she reveals that she's been tasked with defeating the beetles in a cave to the north of the desert, but she has a strong fear of the creatures. She asks you to clear them out in her stead.

To do so, head out to the northeast of the desert, near the large quicksand pit. The entrance to the beetle cave is just a bit west of the quicksand. Pop inside to immediately see beetles crawling all over.

The beetles will continue to emerge until their mounds are destroyed.

Focus your efforts on passing by the beetles and circle up the slope beyond them to reach the mounds they crawl out of. Smash the mounds to advance with the quest. You can defeat the beetles if you'd like, but it's not required.

Head back to town and speak with Raslett inside her house. She's congratulated for destroying the mounds by her superior, and consequently feels guilty for taking credit after you did all the work.

Raslett vows to overcome her fear and rewards you with a heart barette, which makes hearts appear more often!
