The most extreme speed-runners can get to hit max level in under four hours, but don't be disheartened if you see level 50 players zipping past your modest level 20 character. Playing at your own pace is completely acceptable, especially for a new player.

Group Up With Friends And Form A Party

One of the most effective ways to level up quickly in Throne and Liberty is by forming a party with friends. Many quest objectives are shared among nearby party members, allowing everyone to progress together. When one player completes a quest objective, it counts for the entire party if they're within range.

Benefits Of Partying

  • Shared objectives: Whether it's killing monsters, looting, or completing quests, all party members benefit.
  • Faster monster kills: Monsters go down much quicker when attacked by multiple players, speeding up kill quests and grabbing loot requirements efficiently.
  • Tagging monsters: You can also tag more monsters for kill quests and loot quests, ensuring your team still earns credit.

Grouping up not only speeds up leveling but also adds to the fun by sharing the experience with others. This is especially useful during elite or boss fights, where coordination and teamwork are key.

Follow The Main Story Questline

The main story questline in Throne and Liberty is by farthe fastest and most efficient way to gain experience. You probably won't need to grind monsters endlessly, as that's the slowest method, something for which most players are grateful.

The story quests provide huge chunks of experience for little effort. Additionally, following the main quests teaches you about the game's various systems and mechanics. It guides you through the different zones and areas of the game with obvious, easy-to-find objective markers.

If you're a lore fanatic, the main story is where find most of it. Some side quests also have bits sprinkled in, but the main story is where you'll discover the meat and potatoes.

By focusing on the main quest line, you can level efficiently until you hit a point where you need to reach a higher level to advance.

How To Get More Experience When Stuck

At some points, you may reach a level requirement that prevents you from continuing the main story quests. When this happens, switch to completing side quests, contracts, and co-op dungeons.

These all serve as great supplemental sources of experience and rewards such as equipment enhancing materials and skill upgrade materials. These upgrades will also help you level up quickly by ensuring you are not underpowered for level-appropriate activities.

Side Quests

These can be found in your adventure codex and are marked with light purple icons. They are typically just as quick to complete as the main story, however some will require completing tasks you haven't unlocked yet. Feel free to come back to these later.

Contracts

Unlocking contracts occurs during the Third Chapter of the Adventure Codex and can be obtained at the Contract Manager. These are marked by yellow quest markers and provide excellent rewards, including equipment upgrades and skill enhancements.

Co-op Dungeons

For those who have a reliable and competent group, co-op dungeons are an excellent source of experience. They are not part of the main-story questline so you can skip these if you prefer.

Dungeons do offer significant experience rewards, but you only receive the bulk of the experience upon completing the dungeon, after defeating the final boss. The last boss is usually the toughest and can cause some players to leave early due to this.

Avoid Grinding Monsters For Experience

This point deserves a big highlight as it’s the least efficient way to gain experience. Killing monsters is part of the gameplay in Throne and Liberty, and if you just want to do that, no one is going to stop you. However, it's simply the slowest way to level up.

Some areas may offer slightly more experience per enemy, these are known as open-world dungeons, and become PvP-enabled areas at night. But overall, it is far slower compared to quests and dungeon runs.

Use monster-killing primarily as a means to complete specific quest objectives or to farm materials and loot, but don’t rely on it as your main source of experience.
