As you level up in Throne and Liberty and progress through its main story, you'll unlock various co-op Dungeons that can be completed in groups of six players. The second Dungeon, Roaring Temple, unlocks at level 30, and drops Rare Daggers, Bows, Greatswords, and Wands.

Despite being only the second Dungeon in the game, the Roaring Temple's final boss can provide a difficult wall to clear, unless you come prepared. Below, we'll take a look at how to complete every step of this Dungeon, including how to beat the final boss, King Chimaerus.

Roaring Temple Dungeon Walkthrough

The first part of the Roaring Temple is fairly straightforward. To start, defeat the four monsters along the path forward, which will remove the first barrier. Head into the now-accessible area, gliding down to the area below.

Now, defeat the six enemies in this area to remove the second barrier, allowing you to operate the Mana Field Regulator, which will fill up this area with water, allowing you to access the next area of the Dungeon.

In the next area, head down the ramp towards the enemies, then defeat all seven to remove the third barrier. This will once again let you operate the Mana Field Regulator, filling this area with water and allowing you to continue.

The fourth barrier is guarded by the Ancient Berserk Dark Enforcer, a mini-boss that has a bit more health than the enemies you've previously faced in the Dungeon. This enemy will use a fire attack that damages all party members and inflicts Burning, so the healer should be prepared to top off the party's health.

After defeating this mini-boss, the fourth barrier will be removed, and a Resurrection Gate will appear. Now, look out over the large open area with fire on the ground. Here, use your glide morph to fly over the area, doing your best to avoid the fire pillars that will erupt from the ground. Landing on the opposite side of the area will drop you next to a group of enemies, defeat them to continue.

Continue forward, defeating the enemies that get in your way, until you reach the Ancient Berserk Shade Wizard, who is guarding the final barrier. This mini-boss has a Fury Attack that can be defended against, and will summon Ancient Zombie Mutts to the fight, but otherwise, there aren't any particular mechanics to watch out for.

Defeating the Wizard mini-boss will remove the final barrier, creating a Resurrection Gate and allowing you to rest at a Campfire to restore your health and mana. Use this opportunity to replenish yourself before the final boss, King Chimaerus.

King Chimaerus Boss Guide

King Chimaerus has two major mechanics to watch out for. Before each, a white Fury Attack indicator will appear, letting you know that you'll need to prepare to deal with either of these mechanics.

The first is the boss's Fireball. A random player will be targeted with a greenlight before being stunned for a few seconds. Then, King Chimaerus will launch three Fireballs at the stunned player, dealing massive damage in an area around the player. Most likely, the first Fireball will instantly kill this player, although it is possible to survive two in a row.

To deal with this mechanic, you will need another players to step in and "absorb" the Fireball before it reaches the stunned player. To do this, align yourself between the boss and the marked player, so that the Fireball hits you instead.

It's a good idea for the marked player to move a good distance away from the boss, so that they aren't hit with splash damage from the Fireball when it's absorbed.

A player absorbing the Fireball will take less damage than if it were to hit the marked player, so the person absorbing the Fireball can typically take two in a row and be safe, especially if that player is the Tank.

Ideally, the Tank should absorb two Fireballs, then another player should take the third one, which will keep the marked player entirely safe.

The second of King Chimaerus's mechanics is a poison fire blast. The boss will move to the center of the arena before unleashing consecutive waves of fire and poison damage, dealing high damage to all players while also making them take damage over time.

To stop this attack, you will need to use the grappling hook to activate one of the four chains around the arena, pouring Mana Fluid on the boss.

Be sure to use glide morph on the way down from the chain so you don't take extra damage from falling.

Besides these two mechanics, King Chimaerus will also shoot poison globs at random players, creating poison puddles on the ground. Avoid these as you continue to deal damage to the boss.

This fight can be strenuous on the healer, so everyone should do their best to avoid taking damage wherever possible, and use your healing items as needed. Once King Chimaerus is down, you can claim your loot and exit the Dungeon.
