You can make trap doors, regular doors, and archways in Tiny Glade. Doors will size and resize automatically as you manipulate your structures, and they'll randomly populate the surrounding area with decorations like barrels, baskets, ladders, bird houses, and piles of laundry. We'll walk you through a few ways to start making doorways for your dioramas.

How To Make Doors

There are two main ways to make doors in Tiny Glade. The first, and easiest way to make a door is to use paths.

Take the path tool and draw a path running through the wall of whatever building you'd like to add a door to. By running a path through the building's wall, you'll make a door.

The door will automatically stretch and size to fit the surrounding terrain, but if you manipulate the wall's size, you can change the door's shape accordingly.

The second way to make a door is to select a window and drag it to the base of one of your building's walls. If the window is perpendicular to the floor, it will automatically morph into a regular door.

Currently, the window method only works when using paned windows.

You can also build doors through regular crenelated walls! Simply follow the same steps as you would to make a door in a building.

How To Make Trap Doors

You can also use windows to make trap doors. To do this, take a building with a flat roof (which you can create by dragging a roof's height to the base of the building) and place a window over a spot on the flat roof.

Placing a window on the 'floor' of the roof will create a trap door.

How To Make Archways

To make an archway in Tiny Glade, run a path through a wall or fence line. When the path cuts through the crenelated wall or a fence, it will automatically create an archway to let the path run through.

You can stretch and shape archways in both walls and fences by clicking on them and dragging them around to change their shape.
