The life of Nathan Drake has proven to be a dangerous one. Scenic places, dark tombs, and enemy camps await you as you lead Drake through A Thief's End, the fourth leg of his amazing journey. But it won't always be an easy time. Knowing that, it's best to load up and prepare to get into more than a few gunfights.

You don't want to get caught with just your fists against some of the bad guys you'll face; you need a gun. But what weapons have the best bang for their buck? Let's look at the best weapons available to you in Uncharted 4.

11 FAL

This assault rifle is a pretty common find throughout the game. Just because it is easy to find doesn't mean it should be overlooked.

While not having the heaviest damage nor the fastest firing rate, the FAL makes up for it in the way of being accurate and easy to handle. It may take a few bursts to take out the enemy, but the range in which you do so is pretty good for an assault rifle. It's not hard to keep those rounds on target, either.

10 XCR

The XCR is a stockless assault rife preferred by the guards at the Rossi Estate. This gun is far from the most accurate, and the recoil is something special, but where it shines is in close range.

The sheer rate of fire and moderate damage is enough to make anyone think again before rushing you. A great option in the tight confines of the estate where it can be found, it's also good if you want to guard a corner in multiplayer and spray anyone who comes too close.

9 P90

The P90 is a DLC weapon with some interesting attributes. Found in many different FPS games (and for a good reason), the gun misses out on things like damage. The sheer fire rate, however, is something to take note of. This gun's accuracy is quite surprising for how quickly it spits out bullets.

This is a great option for those players who aren't so intent on one-shot kills and want more of a "one of these bullets has your name on it" approach to things.

8 Raffica

While main weapons usually bring the most firepower, sidearms should not be forgotten. This mid-range and moderately available sidearm stands out for a few key reasons.

First is its fire mode. Not too many pistols come with a three-round burst option. This makes it great for putting a moderate amount of damage on an enemy, especially while on the move. The other key feature that makes this weapon unique is its range. It excels at close to medium range, especially once you get used to where to put the reticle. If done right, the three-round burst will raise the gun and allow for two body shots and a headshot in one squeeze of the trigger.

7 Flintlock

A rare weapon, but it should be held onto when found. The Flintlock pistol may not seem like a good option in a modern fight, but that's where you would be wrong.

Certain things make this gun a little harder to use than most. First off, the obvious, you get one shot before you reload, and reloading is a bit time-consuming. It isn't the most accurate weapon in the game either, being a pistol and all. Plus, the ammo can be hard to come by. However, even with all of those caveats, it is still a great weapon. Why? The damage output for the Flintlock is amazing. Keep this around for armored enemies or those that you need to one-shot kill. Combine it with a solid main weapon, and you'll be all set.

6 Copperhead

A scoped assault rifle with ranged engagements in mind, the Copperhead is a pretty well-rounded weapons system. Used pretty often by Shoreline, this gun beats most other weapons you may find lying about for ease of use alone. The Copperhead is best used to pick off baddies at medium or long ranges, where its accuracy really shines. That said, a solid clip size and fire rate mean you won't be defenseless when caught in close quarters.

5 AK-47

The AK-47: an easily identifiable gun, no matter what kind of FPS games you like to play. The AK is a great choice for its well-rounded nature and damage output.

If you're a fan of a good assault rifle, then you'll be happy to know the AK is here for you, and it can be found almost everywhere. Once you get the hang of this weapon, you can do some serious damage. The recoil can get a little unwieldy with fully-automatic fire, so use bursts whenever possible. A great choice for new players or ones that want a standby weapon that may not win any awards but is always there for you in a pinch.

4 Barok .44

An absolute beast of a sidearm, the Barok .44 is a modern-looking revolver that has some devastating damage output.

The heavily armored soldiers of Shoreline have taken a liking to this gun, and so should you. It works great against unarmored enemies and for softening up heavy hitters alike. It has a surprisingly solid recoil at range if you've got the eye for it. Honestly, the only drawbacks are the six-shot magazine and pretty severe recoil. But once you get used to this gun, you can be a real gunslinger.

3 China Lake

Sometimes pinpoint accuracy is key. Sometimes a headshot makes all the difference, and other times you just need to blow things up.

For those other times, the China Lake grenade launcher is the key to success. This is the perfect option to clear large groups of enemies, take out those stubborn ones behind cover, or put some damage on one of the more deadly enemies you may run across. It does take some getting used to with the arcing fire mode and a small clip size, but there is a lot this gun can do and do well.

2 RPG

Another great choice in the world of explosives, and one that is a little easier to come across, the RPG is a great one-shot option for taking out troublesome enemies.

While not to be used on fodder, unless in large groups, the RPG does a great job of damage output and being fairly reliable in the accuracy department. Just make sure you pick your targets wisely.
